I got permanently banned on my account, but it wasnt even me playing!!!!!

I was permanently banned on my account when it wasn't me playing on it and I had recently been banned for 14 days due to someone on my account so I went and changed my password because the person before hadn't changed it, and i went to work today and came back expecting to be able to play on my account but it was banned permanently because someone had played Lee sin on it and was toxic but it wasn't me. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on the game and I have done nothing to deserve this permanent suspension. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!

I have been banned before yes, I understand that and have accepted that. But leading up to the 14 day suspension. and this permanent suspension it has NOT been me playing. I did nothing wrong and have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on the game. I would have to think there is some form shape or fashion to riot having mercy on me when I did not do anything to deserve a punishment like I have. And if there is nothing they can do for me then they can at least refund me the money I spent on the game. which being the last time I spent money on the game was before the 14 day suspension. My reasons being

  1. I didn't cause the permanent ban on my account.
  2. I changed the password on my account after the two week suspension, and it still wasn't me playing.
  3. I have put countless hours of time into this game and have made many friends, and too just ban me for not doing it and not refund me my money is completely and totally unfair.

Just to clarify: do you know who was using your account? Was it a friend? A hacker? Even so, the Terms of Use state that the actions that occur on your account are your responsibility. This includes account security, whether it's logging out before you leave a room or keeping your computer clear of malware. In some situations, I agree with this policy and some situations I don't; however, I understand why they institute a blanket policy, and it's because your actions too led to the negativity and toxicity that occurred in those games even if it may not have been your toxicity.

Well in this situation you shouldn't agree, I would even take this shit to court because it wasn't me and I have damn good proof it wasn't me playing. I have alibis and even a work schedule and school schedule to prove it wasnt me on at the times the account was played.

If you'd like to give your hand at it, you can submit all of that information in a ticket to Player Support and make any changes to your punishment if they see fit. I've included below some tips on contacting Player Support:

Because this is an account-specific inquiry, we can’t help you out here on the Boards. As such, you’ll want to direct this to Riot Games Player Support by submitting a ticket! As you submit your request, here are some tips that will help resolve this issue as quickly as possible:

  1. Create an account on the Riot Games Support website. It'll save you a lot of time in the future and keep your requests organized and easier to find/access.
  2. Be sure to submit as much information in your initial ticket as possible. For obvious reasons, each Player Support Specialist's request for more information will delay the resolution of the issue.
  3. Be respectful and polite in your correspondences with Riot Support. (They're doing their best to help you!)
  4. Try not create a new ticket or respond to an existing ticket before a Player Support Specialist has had the chance to review your request. New tickets/replies may bump your ticket back to the bottom of the queue, thus increasing the amount of time before a Player Support Specialist is able to review your ticket.

If you're unsure where to put your ticket in, just select: [I have a question about League of Legends/Riot Games.] > [Game and Features] > [General Questions]

Yeah, you're not going to win a court battle against Riot regarding your account. Here, lemme find it:

If you share your account it gets perma'd. PERIOD. Why is this so hard to understand? This is clearly formulated in the ToS, yet every week someone comes on the boards all in wonder that their account got snuffed. Don't share your account.

i looked at your opgg and i am somewhat skeptical how you are in bronze with those kda's and winrates. looking at the lolking extended elo gain graph it indicates that you recently had a spike and started climbing rapidly. Riot has tons more info and tools than i do, but i feel that you attempted to get boosted, riot noticed and perma'd you. i have no proof, its just a theory but that's what it looks like to me. good luck talking to support. as a little damper though: i have not heard once of a perm banned account being reinstated. A permaban always occurs after personal review of a rioter. cheers!

I never once shared this account, who ever played on my account had my password, and I had no idea it was being played on because I hadnt logged on before that for about 6 or 7 days.

Unless your account got stolen (and why didn't change the password immediately?), then you're still banned. Account sharing is against the ToS

I wasn't sharing my account, and It didn't get stolen, whoever knew my password had been playing on it a couple days before the 14 day suspension I guess. I hadnt logged on in several days, or even more. So I didnt know it was being played on.

make up your mind. either you shared your account OR it was stolen. just to make it clear, while not impossible, it is highly unlikely that someone finds out your login and your password. In the case that happens though, it is considered as an account hack or a stolen account. if you notice that your account got hacked, you immediately report it to support. they then initiate a recovery. Did you not do any of this before your account was banned?
