Toxicity when having a bad game

I just played a ranked game where I went 0/11/8 as Caitlyn. Before the match had started I told the team I am not a very good adc and I asked for mid, (my main role) the Katarina said no and I didn't really want to dodge, so I just went as adc. I died a few times and my team started pinging me and calling me trash, dumb, idiot etc. We lost when Jax did pretty bad also, but they weren't flaming him at all. I think Riot should start to find out if people are really trying to int, or are trying their best to win.
