My past couple games have people refusing to speak and running straight into the enemy feeding. My actual last game my top laner was at 9 deaths at the 10 minute mark. I didn't even think it was possible to die that often. Jungle ganked and instead of using abilities he would sit there autoing and they would both die.
Are people making accounts specifically to do this to the enemy team to climb their main account?
how would one go about ensuring your in same game and additionally not on the same team? Probably just trolls or unskilled players.
If you told me you were playing on Twisted Treeline, I would have said you found someone using a bot program to level the account. But I haven't found anyone using that on the Rift. At that point, might be helpful to gently suggest to the jungler that they refrain from ganking that lane, and just try to get one of the other lanes ahead to try and carry.
You're always welcome to report them, as every now and again the occasional player comes up that literally wants nothing to do with the team and plays for KDA and stat-padding. I'm not sure if the IFS (Instant Feedback System) is able to quickly pick up on this as their stats are ridiculous sometimes, however if they're intentionally throwing/feeding in games that could easily be ban-worthy. There was a Chinese LeBlanc player with a 3200 KDA that only played Tank LeBlanc while maintaining a Bronze 5 MMR - something that is generally unheard of.
Also, make sure you're not being toxic towards them or flaming them, as they could easily just be tilted from previous matches or your team/enemy team harassing them - putting the flamers at risk of being banned themselves for obvious reasons.
