Can anyone explain these email to me? Riot is confusing me? Is this a scam? Emails inside.

So I havnt played league for sometime. Its been like years and years. Anyways I tried to log into my account and It said I was perma banned. I sent riot an email asking what happen and they sent me this email about third party.

Now when I follow that link its tells me pay this 55.00 dollars and your account will basically be unlocked. Now what im confused is the purchases says on dec 11. is the day I emailed the asking about the account. And why does one tell me its banned for third party which the only third party ive ever used was Skype. Anyways im just curious it all seem really odd to me. Im just looking for a explanation.

At this point, call riot call their support staff before you do anything. It is best to talk about this on the phone with them.

Your best bet is to contact Player Support through the ticketing system. The H&S Boards is unable to assist with account related or sensitive information. Best of luck!

Maybe its just a sign i shouldn't pick it back up. I really wanted too but its seem to sketchy now. Like they wanted money and now the money is gone but the account is still banned.. Like an hour ago that link said 55.00 now it says 0.00. I just don't see why Riot refuses to help there players who support them? They refuse to help..... There is something clearly out of place here.

Do not pay! It sounds like somebody brute-forced into your league account, used a bot program, and then sold it to somebody who may have used a stolen credit card (and the credit card owner had the money charged back). Riot then perma-banned the account (being used by other people at this point).

Instead, get in touch through league's official website with support and report a scam. I would say to get back in touch with Itachi, as he's clearly the official Riot employee and ask what can be done to unban your account and create a secure password. Also ask about 2-step verification; I have russian people logging into my EA account all the time (even after password changes), but they don't get in because I get a code sent to my cellphone.

If there are any kind of payment issues or chargebacks you have to repay the money before you get your account back.

Where are you seeing it is from dec 11? The pasted thing says june 2012.

It kinda sounds like your account was stolen over the time you weren't playing though.

Now the link they sent me with the chargebacks says 0.00. And they account is still banned.. they changed it.. Im so confused.
