Is SEXUAL HARASSMENT OK TO RIOT

The past few months that I have been playing this game a lot of people are harassing me. I keep getting games where people would ask me to send nudes for ganks or can I fuck you type of questions. Why would Riot not enforce the rules? And I feel like ever since I dropped to honor 0 because of unsportsmanlike behavior a while back I could get out of honor 0 and I would keep getting paired up with people that harass me. How do you expect me to not defend myself, ow do you expect me to get out of honor 0 when people harass me, how do you expect me to concentrate on winning if I constantly keep getting reminded about my pussy and how people want to fuck me. It gets really annoying after a while and it sucks how I cant do anything about. If I were to say that it sucks to get paired up with trollers people would be like can you suck on my dick. I get really upset and I hate the fact that I'm still honor 0 because of this and it's not just every few games for me its practically every game if not every other game I just don't want to be harassed and maybe I could get out of honor 0, but that's never gonna happen because everytime I send a report I feel like no one has even looked at it.

I thought you were quitting? Are you just making board post to complain?

Report them for verbal abuse and I can pretty much guarantee you they'll get put on chat restriction.

Mute them immediately whenever they start. And if all else fails change your summoner name to something that doesn't give away that you're female and just don't comment on it during game.

Mute them, report them, move on.

At the risk of blaming the victim... it's the name. It's 100% the name.

There's no justification for sexual harassment, and it absolutely is punishable when reported, but if you want thirsty internet dudebros off your back, take "egirl" out of your name.

While it is easier to say and obviously much harder to do, but you should not get mad over it, because that's fish on the hook with that one.

Just ignore them and send reports, and add a note at the end of the report that say "this guy sexually harassed me with this "XXX" line that asked me if they could fuck me" or things like that. I mean, that may or may not net them the ban, but if they're that toxic it's probably just a matter of time they get banned for a combination of this and other reasons anyway. If you have to, it's also not like reporting via support ticket isn't possible, you just need to start a new ticket with some screenshots of the harassment attached; it's probably more effective than in-game reports but each report will take more effort to do so up to you.

That said, because people are harassing you it really doesn't just automatically mean Riot is okay'ing it; just like how murders still happens even though there are clear rules stating that it is not to do and law enforcers working tirelessly to catch murderers (murders happens even in countries where death penalties are active). The issue is some people believing that they can get away with it, with perhaps the lack of certainty in the law enforcement or at least a perceived lack of certainty on the offender's part may be a side factor for it.

You're at honor 0 for your behavior, and there is a reason you went to Honor 0 in the first place. The behavior that is keeping you at honor 0 is yourself with the way you react or deal with these people. Their behavior is by no means acceptable by most people's standards, and probably their standards. Nevertheless, they are trying to tilt you to win games. That tilt seems easy to get. It is insanely frustrating, but there are things you can do to help your situation.

If you can't handle reading it even once then you can just do a quick google search (here you go https://tinyurl.com/yce4t87d spaceherestupidautolinking), there is a multitude of things you can do to remove the chat window. If you're in honor 0 and honestly want to get out of it, you don't need chat. It's not going to be positive.

Sexual harassment is not ok to Riot from my experience. All I know is it is hard to prove or disprove if people get another restriction for their behavior. That pop up saying someone got punished is rare. I'm not sure if sexual harassment is an immediate 14 day ban or not. However, I know just watching the boards lots of people make posts protesting that their behavior got them banned, and some of it is for sexual harassment.

Short answer? No

Egirl is a term used to get attention. If your name was galactic barbie, or something feminine without the use of egirl you'd have 76.3% less sexual harassment. I think guys think egirls are like pornstars. Maybe a misinterpretation, but that was my impression.

Mute and report them. If you don't report them, how are they going to get punished?

Remember, if you don't report them, their behavior doesn't get looked at and it will continue.

You don't have to sit there and take any of it. YOU have the power to mute them. If you choose NOT to mute them, YOU are choosing to expose yourself to more harassment. Don't blame Riot if you want to continue to interact with them when they give you the tools to silence them.

Pick a name that is gender-neutral or even guy like. If you want the attention then pick a name like that or turn on your voice chat / party with people.

ends 99% of harassment. Some people can still somehow figure it out though.

Mute and report. All you can do.

It is a sad fact of life that admitting you're a girl playing video games still makes the dudebros of the internet think they can harass you. This despite the fact that several studies say that more women than men are playing video games these days.

You have two options really. Change your username to something more gender neutral or fight the good fight if you have the mental and emotional energy. But, just remember, that even if you do decide to fight the good fight you're still responsible for your actions and will be susceptible to punishment if you retaliate against the asshats.

I'm gonna be honest with you. I not only went the gender neutral route. I also purposefully chose a new name to use when playing League. I operate under different names almost everywhere else on the internet where I'm much more comfortable being identified as female.

So, you do you. Figure out what you have the energy for and own that decision. But, mute, report, and don't engage.
