You guys flamed the fuck out of calling me annoying and stuff after posting my chat log with context I wrote explaining what everything I said had meant. I submitted an appeal and got my restriction revoked. I just wanted to say thanks for contributing to the problem of this toxic community.

Yeah, it's a problem with this board. Too many people are here just to feel morally superior to someone else and not to actually be helpful, and in the process don't realize they're contributing to the problem they think they want to solve.
Personally, I don't downvote threads unless the OP is clearly being disingenuous, no matter how clearly they violated the rules or how much of an asshole they were being in their chat log. And when I respond to the thread, I'll usually just tell them why they were banned, what part of Riot's policies they violated, what they can expect going forward and advice on how to avoid violating the rules again.
Yeah, I don't know the details of your case, but I actually have to agree that lately I often see people being really aggressive on here.

I'll agree that the mob mentality in this game is rampant, but people have to be aware that you really just can't victimize the victim and encourage aggressors, people make mistakes, noone's perfect, yet they are not only not allowing victims breathing room, they are also encouraging the aggressors to repeatedly push the report button. It's definitely an imperfect system, I got a response from "Eve" (nickname to be courteous), and he/she understood the nature of this imperfect system and that they understand your plight, which led me to close the chat and admit that they at least understand, i would just forget about the whole thing and mute chat permanently dude. Just relax, and if u happen to unmute chat one day just to respond innocuously and get perma-banned so be it. I'm sure things will get better one day.
honestly this game has the most ridiculous system for player bans, everyone should just duo queue and report everyone you can for any type of negative response. Its almost like riot doesn't want you to respond to any type of negative comments.
keep in mind that a revoked punishment does not de-escalate your punishment level.
if it was a 10 game chat restriction, your next punishment will still be a 25 game chat restriction. if it was a 25 game chat restriction, your next punishment will be a 2 week ban.
well can you blame ppl? most come here because riots "feedback" is like none existant. they come here to see that the system still works. blame riot for it.
