Can't log out

I'm trying to play on another account but every time I close my client to reopen it I'm already logged into my main account and can't log out. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

Just exit the client as you normally would , but instead of pressing the OK button press SIGN OUT, that will take you to the new client's Log in screen, it took me a while to figure it out, exiting the client is usually an automatic reaction and I pressed OK without reading because the other option is usually NO or CANCEL but that is no longer the case.

Riot might know of a fix if you properly submit a bug report.

so i went to switch over to a near region but i cant get into the game because my account was auto logged in but it tells me the account is in a new region and closes the game

Open task manager. Expand and close related processes and all riot crash handlers. Try not to put your computer to sleep while still logged in or it may tend to continue to attempt to resolve that "crash" but I don't know why this makes the launcher sort of refuse to relinquish your login data. At least this is what happened for me.
