In-Game player behavior consequences needs improvement/tweaking.

I know what you guys are probably thinking just by reading the title, "here we go again, another player qqing on the boards". Well that's partly true, but there is a solid reason behind it; and I'm sure most can relate. Straight up: the current in-game system to prevent players from leaving/afk and keep sportsmen like behavior are actually work against each other, or serving as a cell of punishment to innocent players and bystanders. I'll try explain how it all ties in together for those that can't see where I'm coming from.

Due to the high amount of trolls/ragers in this game, the chat has become an infamous source of toxic game play. Because if someone tilts, or is looking to troll, all they need is 1 reply, regardless of on context, to spread their toxic fumes all over your game. Usually, you could simply /mute all, which unfortunately has become a regular practice at the start of my game play, and honestly is an unfair disservice to actual players looking to play properly (I apologize for that). But now the tilters/trolls have caught on and rather than use words, they exploit the behavioral consequences to their advantage, so they throw the game. Running into enemy champs, and feeding, or following you and stealing jungle camps, or /all and telling enemy where you are. Ect.

So the worst of it is, if you threaten to report them, or ask the enemy team to report them, they're usually grouped, and since people tend to trust the vast majority, you're the one that ends up with a reported from both your team and your enemy team. So reporting them is no good, I don't even threaten them anymore. So what's left? Your game is completely thrown. And even if you could super carry, is it fair to have to sit through a hell of a game and give those trolls/tilters a win? At this point, (i don't know about you) but I don't want to be in that game, I want it to end so I can get on and play another with a slightly better chance at an actual team. But if you afk you're punished for it, if you leave you're punished for it. You're literally put in a position where you are forced to abide by their rules or face punishment

So maybe you stay? Enjoy wasting 45+. Maybe you help end it faster? Get accused of feeding (oh the irony). /Surrender? LOL Because the trolls want to end their fun?

TL;DR/My point: Riot, you are giving too much control to the player base. Most of us just want to play our game. We don't care if we have slower players on our team, we can carry/help/educate but giving trolls and hardcore tilters the tools to trap you or be punished for it is ridiculous. When people queue up, they're committing 45+ minutes of their time to their teammates, we demand the same respect from all 10 players. Cases of 0/9+ need to be flagged as reviewed by your employees. And intentional feeding needs to be reviewed by your employees, not let a bunch of players bunch up on 1 or 2 people.

I know many will disagree, insult, or probably troll me, but this needs to be said. We just want to play our game. I think most people agree with that consensus.

Hope this helps motivate change in some positive way. Best of luck to all, and cya on the rift.

The system is already tweaked to account for group reporting. 1 report or 9, the system only flags it as 1 game reported. So, solo players do have protection from and a voice against, groups of trolls.

it really is tldr, but group reports mean nothing especially if they didn't do anything wrong.

even if they did, its the same as 1 report.
