So, i just played a ranked match where our Jg, was very negative, talking about how bad our bot lane will be, i told him how negative he was being and he said he would stop. We were doing well and then he started telling all of us how bad we were doing. He told bot lane he would no longer gank them and from then on just started sitting in bushes talking about how bad all of us were doing. I, admittedly got angry with him, but then he decided to run to vacant lands and stand still while typing mean comments to the entire team. All four of us decided to report him and some on the enemy team agreed too. And then i get suspended for 14 days. My account does not get reported often from what i know and i lost this match due to a troll who admitted he was doing it! I may just be bitter, but when Riot always puts texts about "the one negative person can lose you a game" and then that one negative person does lose you the game AND A DIFFERENT PERSON GETS BANNED. I just dont see the justice, i could be completely wrong, but its not fair to push such a "balanced" play zone, when Riot themselves knows that so many people are toxic and aggressive to players and they go unnoticed.

This is a flowchart of how Riot's punishment system works. If you were given chat logs you may want to look them over, because something you said triggered the automated system. Keep in mind the automated system does not scan the chat logs of games where you were not reported, so a player reported you in that game or another. If you repeated anything that guy said, particularly if it was what Riot considers to be extreme toxicity, that could have lead to your punishment as well.

Also keep in mind that multiple players can get punished in a single game. You getting a punishment does not mean the other guy got off without one. Technically speaking a really toxic game could see 10 people get punishments.

There's this awesome function that you can use to ignore that player. We call it the mute button. Normally we use that function to keep that player(s) from harassing, insulting, and flaming players. After we use that function, we go and play the game without seeing them ever typing again! Awesome right? So after that game, we then report them. And a good amount of those does get punished due to them being toxic in other games.

But yea, all you have to do is click the tab button, and there'll be this volume looking icon, click it and done! No more harassment. Next time you won't get banned! Awesome right? Try it!
