Basically what happened here is that zyra was taking my farm, she gave sivir 2 free kills, fiora lost mid against karma and Warwick didn't gank, didn't do objectives, went 1v3 trying to solo Jarvan, and somehow I'm still the bad guy. Did I really flame that much in this game? The only times I actually flamed (Fiora and Zyra) is because they also flamed me. Yeah ik, shitty excuse. But seriously now... I reported ww. He called me a retard, kept arguing with Jarvan and he got nothing. No penalty. But I did? Fucking seriously?

I notice if they say exactly "kys" 3 times or more 75% of the time i get the popup. On the other hand ive had them type the entire words multiple times with no popup.

Wow... you only have to say "Kys" to get perma'd... nice. Good to know that if I start trolling, I won't get punished. But if I swear, I do. This is League of Legends, not some kiddy playground. Why don't they focus on the more troll side of LoL instead of the toxic one? Also... am I really the only one that thinks just because someone says "kys" even jokingly, they get banned is ridiculous?

It works like a spam filter. Words and sentence structures have weights assinged. How else can you analyze speech on a binary computer system besides using math.

I'm sure you are completely aware of most of the things that made you get the chat restriction (like literally telling someone to kill themselves), but I wan't to point out that asking for other players to report someone is not allowed and in some cases will contribute to a punishment for you. Not many people know this, but Riot has stated numerous times they do not want people asking others to report someone, one report is enough and makes the system check the flagged game.

Never knew about this. Since warwick himself kept spamming people to report me. And I really hate the fact that riot focuses more on the toxic part of the community rather than on the troll side. It's kinda frustrating to see someone inting, trollpicking, etc. And he gets no punishment, but people that just say "kys" get permanenty banned.

Well I'm glad I could help out so you do know what Riot doesn't allow, a lot of these threads end up dead because everyone just yells at the OP and there isn't any back and forth. Riot focuses a lot more on things like hate speech and "kys" threats because they are a lot easier to pick up on and never really a grey area.

On the other hand, with "trollpicking" or "inting", a ton of the instances aren't necessarily trolling or inting. Riot tries their best to defend off meta picks (personally I've played jungle Swain and done fine, not reportable) so when someone picks a character that isn't necessarily the best fit, it's not reportable. It's only reportable in that instance if they INT, which is where I'm getting to next. INTing is running it down lane deliberately to simply feed, racking up scores like 0/22/0 by the end of the game. The system already automatically detects things like this, and I have seen many instances of people getting banned for this on the spot. However, doing badly (like 2/14/6) is not INTing because the player is trying. Riot doesn't want to punish a person for being bad at the game, because that would go completely against they're business model as the game makers.

TL;DR Verbal stuff is easy to flag and punish, physical stuff is more of an iffy are sometimes.

I actually got banned once for "intentionally feeding". Everyone reported me because I was doing very poorly and ended up with a 14 days ban. I was probably like... 2/13/6 or something in that area.

If that happens again, send a support ticket with screenshots of the stats of the game explaining how you weren't feeding, they can help you out and ideally reinstate your account because simply doing poorly is not intentional feeding.

Well, both players are at fault. If they both had other negative messages that game it would be a 14 day suspension for each, if not then it would be a chat restriction.

Yep. Definitely deserved worse. Prime example of why I just mute everyone every game. No one gets punished as severely as they deserve for this sort of thing.

Srsly people are waaaaaayy too butthurt. Just because you say "kys" this doesn't mean they will actually do it. And by muting everyone you refuse to comunicate with your team. That used to be a ban worthy reason.

False. The mute option is there specifically so you don't have to put up with garbage in the chat. You can communicate anything you need to using pings alone. The chat is entirely unnecessary.
