Most people in lol and dota 2 just leave anyway. Its just like in game, ignore it and move on. If you can't handle mean words then get off the internet. I personally think Riot babies these thin-skinned people enough as is. If you can't handle it leave, it's not their job to handle your triggered little self esteem based issues. to yourself and move on. Like I seriously will never understand why people care so much, if you don't like what they are saying don't listen. You see people on the street that can call you mean names all they want and can get away with it. We can't even have constructive criticism anymore in game or someone will report you and try to get you chat restrictions. So many people are afraid to say anything now that they don't even care to try to help others they just say f' these idiots in the discord call with the teammates that aren't stuck up and just want to use text chat. Me and my friend call each other out all the time on stupid crap, its not like we hate each other just that we want to help the other improve. But this is why chat is dead in most games at higher elo now, since there is a culture of fear of being banned/chat restircted enough to get your account taken away. Glad I can be an american somewhere else in a discord call where someone isn't policing everything I say to my friend(s).
A little context:
I got called a f-ag-got all through school by some people even though I had numerous girlfriends. It wasn't everyone just the usual aholes you find at any school(i think they did it because they knew I wouldn't fight at school since my mum would whoop me worse when I got suspended). I just told them to piss off and if they wanted a fight meat me after school in the nearby deserted parking lot and then they would stfu. All you have to think is that half these people wouldn't dare say this crap to your face in an actual situation when not hiding behind some form of protection. In the end the are just bullies and morons that want to act big to inflate their egos. Words don't hurt a fist/slap upside your head hurts. So i just ignore words now since if I gave in my mum would rightfully beat the shit out of me. I wish some of these privileged people (that were probably babied by their parents also) would have gone through something of the same so they could learn words are only words they only have as much power as you give them.
