There's a chance that your friend has:

  • not been reported from that game.
  • not have any repeating offences such as you did (like getting a single chat restriction).
  • his reports were still not close to the point of being punished.
  • offences weren't considered to be severed enough as compared to yours to be punished.

Other than that, do know that the punishments you received were only due to your chat logs itself, not by others.

We all experience these types of bad behavior nowadays, so all I can say is just report them after games. Post screenshots if you have to to make your reports seems more valuable.

Unfortunately there's nothing we, nor you can do to lift the ban. Only chance for reviving the account is if the ban was unfair, which your chatlogs show it wasn't.
