So Funny League story that literally just happened Hop into a league game, just need that one more win to get into Silver 4, no biggie First thing I see is our Toplaner saying, and I quote 'Feeding mid this game' He then proceeds to ban our midlaners hover pick of Cass I just took the hit and told them 'I'll dodge this one guys, you all get outta dodge.' I legit got thank you's from all three of the other guys on the team, Minus the troll who I forget what he said... something antagonistic I think. Sadly, that was also my last game in my series and as such I lost my chance to go up, but I'd rather just take the hit and move on. Wish I could remember the trolls name too so I could send a support ticket in on him, but hey, 3 guys get outta dodge. So like the title says. Sometimes, ya gotta take the hit.

some idiots will now come in and say "stupid you should have wasted your time and technically lose even more lp so you can report him at the end" but no you shouldnt.

also save yourself the time on the support ticket, its literally pointless.

This shit keeps me from wanting to try getting back into Ranked. As aggravating as the playerbase in Normals is, Ranked is so much fucking worse, in big part because it attracts trolls who think pissing people off is funny. Makes me wish Riot would be harsher in their punishments. Two week ban first offense, month for second, permaban for third level harsh.

1st of all, you didn't lose any mmr for dodging, so you're none the worse for wear.

2ndly, always take a screen shot in these scenarios, and send it over in a support ticket.

Trolls in champ select and taking the dodge for the team is like taking a cait ult for the adc so they don't lose their bounty... true heroics

I have a suggestion for situations like you described.

Add the good guys to your friends list and queue up together after the dodge.

Meh I would probably just play it out in promos. At least you still have a chance of winning instead of zero when you dodge. Never know.. I have won with trolls before and 4v5s.

Man... Playing rank just feels bad . Really. I am the type now that plays 1 rank game each 2-3 days ; and those 2-3 days interval are getting 4.5...6 cause 75% and really 75 % of the time its just bad ... Always one laner that plays so bad manages bad teamplays time after time after time ; jungler 0 impact while u get ganked 3 times ; my champ is 50-75% time banned just feelsbadman

And I just regot chat restricted and lost my 3 checkpoint in honor 0 for saying trashhhhh 3 times; cause im sick of being silver 4 after 100 games as I started silver 5 ; cant win, cant climb// I play good we lose, I play bad we lose ...

And fuc this, Ima say more and more the trash in-games(in 1 game); anyway not getting honor 2 by anyway lol just sad matchmaking

Riot could implement a dodge forgiveness mechanic. Getting 1 or 2 free dodges per series. It would really help change the ranked culture for the better.

When this idea is getting this kind of support by the playerbase, EA is clearly sitting on their asses not caring about the real problem. Innocent players are getting punished by sacrificing their own asses to avoid hostage situations by actual trolls. EA is accepting this, the players aren't.

Why would you ever not dodge in a situation like that? I mean sure you may have done it for your teammates, but dodging there is also in your best interests too. Even in promos, if someone is going to troll/int you into an automatic loss, its better to dodge as you will lose less LP and more importantly, it won't hurt your MMR.
