Tribunal needs to come back

back when the tribunal was still around, i would log in to it to do my part in creating a better community for LoL. when it was down, it said that it was "temporarily" disabled so improvements can be made. that was back in 2014 and it is now 2017 and what we have in place is not nearly as effective as the tribunal was.

it wasn't a perfect system, but it at least did more than what we have in place now. for example, a player can hold a match hostage by staying at the fountain only moving when a leaverbuster notice would pop up to avoid being hit with it, and since the tribunal is not in place, this is not a reportable offense. another example being somebody saying something along the lines of "hold on, i have to take care of something" and not come back until the match is just about to end to avoid being hit with leaverbuster.

Riot, the tribunal is needed a lot more then what is now currently in place.

The Tribunal was not able to grow with the community, and as the community got larger it took longer for cases to be processed; unfortunately, it was just A) far too slow, sometimes taking several weeks or more for a player to be banned for their behavior no matter how bad it was, and B) was actually not more accurate than an automated system because players voting contrary to how they should just for kicks or to get the IP bonus.

I understand the feeling that the IFS doesn't always work as you want, but that's mostly because of not enough feedback for successful punishments and no indication at all that a problem player you reported has improved (or just isn't usually like he acted in your game). I think this is something Riot can and is working on, but a player voted Tribunal isn't actually necessary for the vast majority of cases. If it were me, I'd say that it would do good as only a way to assist in reviewing edge cases to improve accuracy for the odd ones that the IFS couldn't possibly take care of.

No. It won't come back. Sorry.

If there was a faster system I would be all for it but since I don't think it's possible the IFS does a pretty good job imo

I've mentioned this before as well. Tribunal 2.0 would be a supplement, not a replacement, particularly for games that need someone to watch game replay.
