How many reports does it take for your report value to be lowered? Every game has so much toxicity.

Seriously I report someone nearly every game. Every single game in league has someone calling someone a racial slur or raging and calling people all caps 'IDIOTS' or something that is way above and beyond the threshold for reporting. Every single game has events serious enough to warrant a report. So I assume that my report value is worthless because the game attracts this type of player and now they can get away with it in my games.

Your report value only goes down if your reports are false.

As long as the person you're reporting said something that's punishable, you're fine.

If your report are valid then you have nothing to worry about.

Nah, you should know that according to riot, only .006% of players are toxic! There's no way you'd be running into that many when only .006% of players are toxic!

that means you should only be running into someone who is ban level toxic once in every 1600 games or so! Everyone else does not deserved to be banned!

Only the .006% who truly deserve it!

That number almost pisses me off, I see players legitimately every other game being more toxic than I ever was and I got permabanned. Then they tell me i'm one of the .006%

Anyone who has thoroughly played the game knows this figure is so far off it's not even funny. But riot chooses to make people think they're part of a small majority when in reality a huge chunk of the community is toxic.

I'd say about 30% or more in blind picks

and about 10% at least in ranked.

Legitimately 100x what riot says it is.

Basically a huge joke in all seriousness.

It takes 9 reports in a single game for Rito to even consider looking over a game. Otherwise, it's ignored for weeks until it goes through regular processing.

In my opinion, the chat function should be disabled in ranked queues for everyone. I've been playing League of Legends since 2011 and I can say based on my 6k+ games of experience (all platV games and under + normal games), the chat function in-game has only been useful for 0.1% of the matches. Pings are more than enough to signal your teammates for assistance, and if you required even MORE coordination for teamfights and what-not, then you should be using VOIP applications.

Heroes of the Storm has chat disabled by default, but that's none of my buisness..

lets be real here, "lower report value" actually does nothing at all. i remember somewhere on the page a question was "can my report value hit 0 so i cant report toxic players anymore?" and the answer was "no, your report will always have value" so yea even if your report value is at lets say 0,01% it still counts, when someone is toxic the chat system will find him.

I have never seen proof that diminished report value is even a thing. A report only flags a player to be checked by an automated system. Letting a toxic player get away just because the report was from someone who keeps getting it wrong makes no sense when it takes zero manpower to take care of it.
