Today we got a look at the new honor system update. You can check it out at this link.

TL;DR

You have an honor system sort of like Overwatch, at the end of the game, you can chose to honor someone for: Stay cool, great shotcalling, and "gg"

The more honor you have, the higher up in honor rewards you get. The keys for hextech crafting are now linked to your honor (more honor, more free stuff).

This has been a long time coming, and I want to know what the PB boards have to think about it.

i like the new honor system but we need to be able to honor someone from the enemy team as well. maybe a second screen that pops up allowing us to chose one player from the other team? Sometimes, there is more than one person you want to honor on your team as well. Maybe a secondary or honorable mention for a second player. Also, is there a way to track where you are on the new Honor ladder? So you can see how close you are to the next level or losing that level for those who are not being as honorable? As for the voice chat, would there be a mute button for each person in the "call"? There are a lot of players that purposely trash talk to tilt teammates. There would definately have to be a way to not hear them. One other thing, there is definately a difference between tilting and asking someone to pls stop doing something, yet ppl are getting chat restricted because they will be the 5th person that gets added to a 4 man premade and the all 4 report the one person. I actually had it happen to me 3 games in a row. I wasnt even tilted. I simply asked if they could cover their lanes and push. I even said pls! and thank you in all 3 games, yet i got chat resctricted! I think the reports need to be monitored more closely and reviewed not just an automatic, "oh they were reported 3 games in a row, must be toxic". There are people who purposely report a single teammate as a form of tilting and bullying. ive seen it multiple times over the past 6 months.

There is going to be a lot of exploit. Stuff like give me honor and I will honor you back and stuff without really making the environment better since double honor is a win win situation

Back when the initial Honor system was new and shiny, honor trading/hostage was considered reportable. I imagine it will be the same now-- especially the hostage scenario.

It'll be a nice thing to give to the neutral to positive players, but it won't do anything to solve toxicity.

But to be honest, I see toxicity in like... 1 in 10 of my games?

It's probably got something to do with me playing at hours where certain age groups are busy with their daily life or I'm a creative support main / fill 2nd and takes care of alot of the pregame toxicity.

There is that rare occasion I get toxicity and I wish the system told me it punished someone (eventually).
