Riot Ban System is run only by bots and that is disgusting

so i had a game where i got flamed and responded back with same words as enemy (which is now i understand a punishable thing) and i got autobaned for 14 days because the word in question was "kys" which is a big no no i suppose, but the guy who flamed me got out with it just because he put $ or something instead of S. So i went to send a ticket to riot and argued with rioter for a while and when he was out of arguments they started sending premade bot responses again saying how problem is solved when obviously it is not when i can see the guy still playing games.

So in conclusion you can only be banned if you say a buzzword on a riots "weary bad word list" and bot detects it, otherwise there is little to no chance of you getting banned even if rioters know you said said words,trolled,fed, or harassed in any other way.

First off - what's so disgusting about the majority of punishments being delivered by an automated system? It's efficient and precise, so I see no huge issue with it.

Second, this;

Is wrong. The IFS is (to quote Prandine, I think - could've been another moderator) a complex neural network system that can learn and discern speech patterns in text. It can see who's flaming, who's being obsessively negative, etc., and, the majority of the time, it doesn't work off of keywords.

The only times it does is when it comes to hate speech or encouragements of self-harm.

I have removed the image from your post as the Universal Rules prohibit naming/shaming other individuals, which unfortunately your support ticket is classified as. Your support ticket is the proper place to report the other players' behavior to Riot, but please understand that their behavior does not justify repeating any toxicity they may have had.

If you wish to discuss your punishment it does help if you will post your chat logs for us to see.

It's run by bots because the bots are faster than any human ever could be in successfully punishing extreme behavior. The bots were refined for several years to result in a nearly perfect accuracy on their verdicts. The heaviest (i.e. permanent) punishments are manually authorized by human staff, and you can always demand a re-trial (though with the mentioned near perfect accuracy, this is usually just a on-demand walk of shame).

The system works fine.

Just mute the people that are toxic to you. Problem solved.

But no you want to go into a keyboard war with someone who is a complete STRANGER that "insulted" you, instead of playing the game and enjoying yourself you chose to bring yourself to their level and become toxic yourself.

Well congratulations you're prize is a 14 day ban and you are now toxic yourself, enjoy becoming an angry and frustrated human.

This just shows that a single mute that takes a second to do can cost you your account.

To get a perma ban a real person has to look over the account logs.

This is how you get perm-banned.
