so i have a toxic dude in my team. i mute him. well thats kinda useless cause he will STILL flame and not focus on the game. my wish is that if i mute someone and this guy says ANYTHING with my name or my champs name in chat he gets a message in his chat "player squidwards house (rakan) muted you and can not see your messages anymore" i think that SOME people then would not flame AS MUCH.

i agree that if you mute someone, the player should know that you have them muted. but for different reasons, it makes it so people trying to shotcall arent wasting valuable time typing to someone trying to get them to follow a call when they cant even see it. also it also lets reforming players know "if im getting muted a lot, i might also be picking up reports too, i should be careful". i think a global notification should pop up if someone mutes their entire team, and if a player mutes more then 2 people not on the enemy team, ping muting becomes disabled, this forces them to communicate to at least some degree
