My Questionable Ban

Alright so I got perma banned the other day.

I've never done anything ban worthy, and certainly not perma ban worthy so I sent in a ticket.

I'm hella unsure why I got banned... Can someone tell me and possibly review the ban? Because I didn't do anything deserving a ban I got this reply a few days later.

Hello Summoner, Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I've updated the lock on your account to two weeks starting today, though I wanted to touch on some of your last matches. Please note that as a one-time exception any further punishments that occur in this matter will not be able to be reversed for any reason. Furthermore, we will not be able to restore the standing of this account, and any further negativity that results in punishment will be your responsibility. In the following matches your account was audited for the incredible spike of negativity that we saw. These matches best exemplify that negativity. If you find that a player is creating a negative experience for you there is an appropriate way to handle it, and insulting them is not the best way to go about it. Templar Iytsuna Player Behavior and Game Support "We are all connected."

Game by Game First game the enemy adc was flaming me for losing lane winning game (until we lost eventually) that's the guy who called me honey to which I said pls end urself creep. Ban worthy?

Second Game was an open mid game. Keep in mind I NEVER open mid, and I NEVER give up, afk etc. This game I did afk however, had a mid Xin who was mad I didn' give him jungle and he was half intent feeding, an angry talon top and a losing bot. I left the game because it really wasn't worthy my time to put up with the toxicity that game and I had something to do anyways. NO it's not good to leave games, but that was the first ranked game I've left in a long long time. I did leave an aram like a week ago, feel asleep mid game.

Third game you don't see it but I WAS HELLA HELLA HELLA getting flamed by my adc and their supposed duo. I dont know why but it happened. I said nothing in reply and just did my best.

While I appreciate not getting a perma, I don't think a two week is warranted either considering I've never got anything worse than a five game ( i said five day chat ban on accident before some votes but I changed it) chat ban. No three day or one day ban. NO 15 game chat restrict (maybe like a couple years ago).

For the poll, vote max chat ban if you think two week is too harsh but chat ban is too little. I can't edit polls.

EDIT: So the pls end urself u creep seems to be the point where I deserved the ban. RIP.

"please end yourself"

In other words, suggesting they kill themselves, which is grounds for an immediate permanent ban. Please do not ever suggest someone kill themselves, whether in person or over the internet, as you have no idea what they are going through and what the repercussions of your actions may be.

Whether that is how you meant what you said or not is irrelevant, as that is how it may look.

You got really lucky that they helped you out and reduced your punishment, and I'd keep your head down and not use chat unless it's positive or useful to the game at hand.

Everyone is accountable for their own chat, no matter the circumstances. If you want everyone to fairly judge the above, you should post all three games' chat logs.

Are you serious? You used a lot of curse words, you practically told someone to go murder himself, and you were rude. Your ban was escalated because you told someone to go kill himself. Don't tell anyone to do that and go get counseling if you feel that way about everyone. Toxic behavior is not an excuse to tell someone to go kill himself.

Generally League doesn't like anything that has to do with ending ones life/death threats. Even if jokingly, they don't find it amusing. I've had this happen to me on the forums, joking about Teemo and other champs like that which everyone dislikes for their abilities and such.

Oh let's see. You broke the summoner's code close to 10 times in that one game alone. This isn't some freak accident or unusual game for you I can assure you. Quite honestly you deserved what you got, and riot even warned you prior. I'm saving some rioter time by not having to post on here. Perhaps next time you'll consider actually following the rules.
