"It's just" argument.

Tired of people using the "It's just ARAM!" or "It's just Norms!" as a reason to troll or int. Am I seriously in the minority on this? If these people are ok with trolling ARAM's and Norms, it's not going to stop them from doing it in ranked. Trying to have fun is fine and all, but there's nothing fun about building in a way that you do negative damage and essentially screw your team over because you feel like it.

I don't know, it's all so tiring boys. [zombie-nunu-bummed] My resolve to play this game is fading fast.

"its just a game" is a form of griefing since it is considered trolling. it is known as "minimization," a form of trolling.

Sometimes I say it’s just a game or it’s just norms if, for example, someone took phase rush on Vayne or something. Can’t change anything by getting angry and flaming. Doesn’t mean it’s not frustrating at times.

I definitely agree. The "it's just X" argument to me is more often than not just an excuse to not try as hard as one should or is used to try to excuse poor behavior. Another mindset I'm personally not a fan of is the "end fast" one, where people want to try to end games as fast as possible (often in 7 minutes) for various reasons, such as they have somewhere to be soon or they want to try to account level as fast as possible. As someone who plays primarily co-op vs. ai I rarely if ever have fun in these types of games since I just want to practice different things and/or just enjoy playing the game like normal in general.

Not sure what can be done about people with these types of mindsets but I definitely agree that they're more often than not detrimental if that makes sense.

Well, this happens when Rito assumes "it's just a bad game" for every soft inter. All they care about is to be nice to eachother in chat.

Pretty sure the majority of people find trolling and inting in ARAMs to be "not cool". I havent seen one person ever say no its okay, its just an aram, aside from the rare people who do it.

I don't think you can do negative damage.

Anyways, that depends how you want to define trolling. If I want to build AD Donger, then I am allowed to build AD Donger.

while using the argument for real trolling/inting is bad and you still can report those anyway, its a great argument when players are trying things or memeing and i will use it each time i see case of harassment on those who try new stuff in normals/aram [srsly ppl need to stop flaming the 0 point players for losing to 3m yasuo main in mid]
