Anyone else feel me?

Disclamer: I understand that I am not a perfect League Of Legends player and I also understand that no one else is perfect, besides Dopa and Faker. This being said, I always try my hardest and I believe that there isn't a moment in ranked when I am failing to improve on mechanical skill and other points that lead to a greater knowledge in the game.

Rant: Has anyone else noticed an increase in toxic, intentionally feeding, and just downright mechanically lacking teammates lately? Well I have, and it almost seems to be every single game. This season I was placed in Bronze 1 and I managed to climb to Silver 1 in about 3 weeks by playing mid (Brand, Lux, Veigar). In the last two days I have fallen back to Silver 2 with my last 20 games only having 4 wins. In almost every single one of these games I win lane and seek to extend my power to the rest of the team. Sadly, in most of these games both the top and bot lane lose in some fashion and I am left with a huge lead wasted by the mistakes of my teammates. Now at this part of the story you might say: "Well then you should roam during laning phase and work with your jungler to secure objectives like dragon and herald". I do. In almost every single game I roam to both lanes. Most of the time it's my adc that gets the kills and I can leave feeling confident in their capability in using this lead to their advantage.

They.

Don't.

I don't know if the meta changed over night and I'm just confused on how to play this game or if the simple and childish blaming of my teammates is the actual answer. After so many of these games the only logic answer is that my teammates are actually trying to demote me. Now at this point in the story you might attempt to tell me how if I have "trolls" and "inters" on my team then the enemy team must also have some. Yup. They do. But we all know that if the troll is doing well in a game, you will never see the satanic, feeding side of them. It is only when they slip up and make a mistake, or someone else makes a mistake, that they become triggered and the possibility of victory begins to fade. And for some reason there has been a massive increase in these types of players and i'm being dragged down with them.

So now I'm left with a bunch of losses in my ranked history where in normal circumstances I would have won and I can't help but to sit and pound my face against the table and ask "why?!?". I actually feel like I'm queueing up into a game with a bunch of borderline sociopaths and I'm just the normal kid who wants to have fun and climb.

Now if you're still reading this rant I thank you for your patience and willingness to read an immature excuse for a massive loss steak, but I can't think that I am the only person going through this right now. Feel free to look me up on na.op.gg and replay.gg to go and watch some of my recent games and tell me if your games are similar.

No one is asking you to be perfect! You only seem to think feeding/toxicity is much more rampant because that is the only thing you remember or focus on when you play League. I can guarantee there was toxicity/trolling when you first started playing, but more than likely dismissed it because you were new. I remember when i first started playing League. I would play champions in any role because i like the champion, i like their skills and everything else about them. Now that i understand the game, which champion to choose/counterpick, etc i know now that the old me was basically trolling even though i didnt know it.

It's basically the same thing here. You dont generally remember things in the beginning, or you remember it being a lot better because back then you didnt care. Now that you understand the game a lot better you are much more serious when playing the game. its not a bad thing, but overall this game to an extent has always been like this, you are just seeing it now because that is your main focus at the moment!

It's a teamgame, everyone's a part of the team. Meaning even if 1 person fks up, it screws over the 4 other people. You can't "fix" people. You can't make them try. You help them, you babysit them, you cater them, but you can't fix them. They're bad, and they hold you back. It's the nature of working as a team. Either everyone's perfect, you're holding them back, or someone else is.An out-of-control factor.
