People holding the game hostage over not getting their role.

Has anyone else encountered a large number of people "Holding a game hostage" and flaming/tilting out the whole team IN CHAMP SELECT because they don't get their role? LOL I thought this was decent elo. I really wish something was done about this because these people force others to dodge to get their way and then go on without being punished at all because there's no system of reporting them and if you post on the boards or submit a ticket they just go "Use the in-game functions" THERE ARE NONE FOR THIS. PLEASE FIX THIS.

They way I hear it from high-elo players, Plat V through Diamond V is the most toxic part of the ladder, with Diamond V being the worst. I've also heard the rest of Diamond is pretty vile as well, but Diamond V is in a leauge of its own (pun intended). That's the point where everyone goes from being obnoxious children to obnoxious arrogant assholes.

The way you deal with and punish those players is not to be "forced to dodge" (how someone can force you to dodge is beyond me, they can't force you to do anything on the other side of a computer screen), but rather suck it up and continue into the game. They are bullies, and if you give bullies their way, they keep being bullies. This is basic elementary stuff. If you don't give them their way, and force them to continue through champ select, the odds of them dodging skyrockets. If you get them into the game and they continue to be douche nozzles, that's where you can actually report and punish them. Seriously, don't be cowed by bullies and make them eat their words, and you beat them.

Has been happening since the dawn of League bro. Will be happening for the rest of League's life. Even if we were somehow to get everyone their role 100% of the time they would just hold the game hostage for some other perceived slight instead.
