I been on this Board for a while and I do like to have talks with everyone I can. I have noticed there are a lot of factions. No one can seem to agree and most all the threads have thumbs downs. I don't know yet how to categorize them yet, but what do you guys think?

  • It doesn't affect me, so I don't think it's a problem.

They who want to...

  1. see people be punished, to find vindication through the rules. The most common sort here, because they have incentive to keep coming back.
  2. champion the rules, to help others understand. Unlike 1, they do not glorify punishments and promote reformation.
  3. criticize the system, to highlight it's shortcomings. Some seek vindication from the rules, others to help the system's victims.
  4. The "I got punished and I don't like it" crowd, the most common OP writers here.
  5. The much less common "I got punished, and I want to understand" folks.

Many of the thumbs down come from the dominant 1 crowd. Many of their comments would be against the rules and it behooves them to hold their tongue.

Sadly, there are few here interested in actually discussing behavior in an academic manner. I'm a type 3, like you!

The barbarian, the paladin, some dude whos name skips my mind and lord DGAF is fine.
