Listen i just got out of a 14 day ban which i very clearly deserved for exhibiting toxic behavior and making the game unfun for others. i have tried to be very kind my last couple of days and today i am very sad. because i feel like unless 9 people report a player it doesnt get looked at. Despite trying to fix my behavior it becomes very frustrating when i have to hear a team member call me "retardtheon" when im trying to learn a new champ I'm not mad at the game i'm not mad at Riot I love both. I am just very flustered and upset that this happens still despite my actions being now positive

Hate to be this guy, but did it cross your mind while you were being toxic that there was another reformed toxic player feeling exactly the same way about you? And even if not that, another semi toxic player that threw toxicity at another team after you threw it at them?

Get your emotions under control and exhibit the change you want.

OR, flame back and get banned again.

9 reports in one game is seen as a single instance, but i write a few lines if i report someone to explain it and i do see feedback from time to time about someone i reported being punished, so it works. I would bet my account your ban came after dozens of egregious offenses or dozens of games, not one or two where 9 people reported you.

Srs, someone flames, mute them immediately because since you've been banned once, further reports hit you harder.

Besides, you don't know if that jackass is having to use his third account because his other two were banned, meaning he has been punished multiple times lol.

Some people mute everyone the moment they enter the game on the theory that pings will suffice for communication and teamwork.

Could be worth a try. If not, you can always find some people in the player recruitment side of the boards in order to find non-toxic individuals.
