Harassed by Ping commands

I know this has been brought up before, but is there anything I can do to stop people from abusing the ping system all game long and spamming missing or ! on you (besides gitting gud)

Muting them does not stop the pings from coming through.

you can mute the Sound, in the options within the game, go to "Sound" and put the ping volume to 0. you can still see the pings, but you no longer hear them
