So this happened.

So I was playing some ranked with a friend, trying to climb out of Elo Hell (AKA: Bronze. Because I'm a scrub.), and I get into a game with this completely toxic Nunu. I mention that a dodge might be preferable in the team select since we're up against Ashe, Karma, Vlad, Hecarim, and Ekko, he starts on immediately on calling me out with being a whimp. I look at our team comp, shrug, and go through with the game because the worst thing that's going to happen is a loss, and that's LP lost anyway, right?

Not even 10 minutes into the game, the Nunu is telling me to kill myself, calling me autistic, blaming us for feeding, all while refusing to gank lane and not sharing scuttlecrabs for my Kindred marks. (I know, Kindred ADC in ranked. Silly, but it's worked on some occasions, so I thought I'd give it a try since duo-que botlane.) He flames, he trolls, he tries to get us killed, he even straight up leaves me to Ashe and Karma when I finally clear a scuttle, telling me to enjoy death.

But, I deal through with it. I don't counter-flame. I keep trying my best, even though the game is long over, and at the end of the game, my friend and I report him for verbal abuse and trolling. And lo and behold, I FINALLY SAW THE MOST RARE SIGHT ON LEAGUE, THE NOTIFICATION THAT MY RECENT REPORT HAS LED TO ACTION! [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

This is by far the most glorious and fulfilling moment of my 4+ years of League. All I can say to those of you who are met with similar matches, just keep your mouth shut, grit your teeth, bear through it, and maybe you, too, will be blessed with the rare sighting of the beautiful Action Banner, as I'm now calling it.

I love how the first comment to a post about finally getting a troll punished...

Is someone complaining about people reporting toxic ass holes who ruin the game for everyone who plays it.

To the OP: Well done sir. One jack ass at a time I guess. To the First Poster: Well done sir, you've shown me that my dislike for most of humanity is well placed.

I'd stop focusing on the team comp of the other team so much. Bronze players are always like 5 months behind in what's OP and what's not.

You can psyche yourself out mentally thinking about the meta in Bronze.

The first poster is correct, this game is a game of a bunch of whiny pussies who want to fuck with people they don't know, and then when that person has taken enough shit and retorts and genuinely hurts the original trolls feelings, the one who retorts gets punished while the asshole kid who started the whole thing gets away clean to go ruin other people's experience.

That action banner is a lie its already been proven. My duo partner reported me for missing a cannon minion and he got the banner too but im still pushin

One of the best tips for climbing is TO dodge games you think you have a troll or just a bad team comp. Dodging only cost you 3 lp while a loss costs you 20 and you only waste 5 minutes on the first dodge instead of a whole game.
