I may have flamed, I'm not sure. I did talk a lot, but i don't think i flamed anybody or was toxic. I was only given 1 game chat log. here it is.

Sooo, I see that I used profanity a couple of times, but really? I get it, I referred to the smurf as F***, but again I don't think I actually flamed anybody... Like I was facing a booster who I ended up reporting. I also admit that he outplayed me, but like he must've been at least gold...

opinions please. Do i deserve this or what??

i mean, you spent the entire game criticizing and talking down to your teammate, literally, that's all this chatlog is. So yeah, i could see this leading to a 10 game chat ban

I got chat restricted without using any profanity. All i did was defend myself. So yeah, that chat restriction is warranted.

Even Riot stated that "defending yourself with toxicity" will result you being punished as well. Two wrongs don't make a right. You have every right to defend yourself (as I do) but do it in a non-toxic way. Be honest. When people mass ping me because I got tower dove by a Lee Sin, Mf, and a Senna and they said "Cait you're so bad holy shit" I just say "I was tower dove by 3 people." THAT'S IT. You don't have to say: "Stupid Jungler not ganking me. You knew Lee was coming where tf were you to follow up? Holy shit JG diff!" Because saying: "I was tower dove by 3 people" is all enough information they need to know what's going on with the situation without resulting in a pointless internet argument.

Calling someone "bad" or "lmao this sylas" is toxic because you're intending to hurt their feelings or make them look bad. You weren't being helpful, you weren't trying to defend yourself the right way, you just went toxic. It doesn't have to have profanity in order for it to be considered toxic.

I would report just for chatting on personal bullshit so much. Focus on the game and stop trying to call people out on shit. If you want to report them, just report em. Telling em youre reporting them and calling them all kinds of shit like boosters and fucks is antagonizing. People play league to play league, not listen to people argue. Swearing isnt against the rules, but insulting players is. So just stop broadcasting all your fucking opinions in the middle of games. No one cares that much, youre just some anonymous stranger pointlessly sharing your opinions in a bitchy, annoying, condescending way.

People arent gonna be like ohhh damn sorry poor guy he wasted 20 minutes of your day, we love you its okay i hope you feel better. No one cares about your time, especially when youre spending it playing video games. Sometimes those thoughts in your head should just stay in your head, you dont need to share everything with anonymous strangers in the middle of a game. Its a video game after all, not a social media platform.
