Hi,

I'm EU West but I am trying to get a level 30 account here in NA, so I made an account last week. I hope to see you all in the foreseeable future in ranked games, the connection is still great from overseas so that's nice.

Just one thing. I am levelling up my account mostly with CO-OP vs AI games for now. I am however noticing a lot of people in my teams who are undeniably controlled by bots:

  • Janna shielding tower when there are still ally minions attacking the wave out of turret range
  • Master Yi suddenly using W out of nowhere
  • A Soraka who is a sworn companion the first person that goes to botlane (follows that person everywhere)

I am however interested if reporting them with the option (Cheating - Using unauthorized third party software) is the right way to go. And will this be noticed by Riot Employees reviewing the cases?

Yes, definately report them if they are obvious bots. Using bots is against the ToS (not that scammers really care), but reporting them will help get those accounts out of the way faster.

Selling accounts is another violation, and getting them while still being levelled denies scammers those accounts to later sell and (potentially) steal back to sell again.
