Honor 3 to Honor 1 for a single restriction?

tl;dr got one chat restriction and now my honor level is dowm to 1

Honor is meant to reward constant positivty/not toxic behavior. It's for people who keep their cool throughout the game no matter how good or bad it's going. If you got a chat restriction, it is only natural that your Honor level goes down. You can definitely build it back up by improving your behavior, though!

Yes, but you can be positive for thousands of games, but if you tilt in one single game out of thousands, then you are suddenly back down from honor level 3/4 to one. It seems less about rewarding positivty, and just punishing everyone who says anything toxic, despite if they have a history of good sportsmanship.

It's meant to reward positivity. If you are negative, you won't drop 2/3 ranks from one game, nor will you just randomly get chat restricted from one game (as long as it's not too severe that you get escalated.) So if you got chat restrictions, it was not one game, and the Honor system will drop you tiers.

I got dropped from level 3 honor to level 1 honor due to one single game. If you have data to back up your words I will then believe you but right now your words are just an opinion.

the only reason you would be punished for ONE SINGLE GAME is if you said something egregiously offensive... like using slurs and hate speech, or wishing harm on other players.

outside of something heinous, you weren't chat restricted for one single game... it's just that specific game was the last straw before your restriction due to mild-moderate negativity that built up over time to warrant a punishment.

you're welcome to provide data by sharing your chat log.

otherwise your case is not unique. you were punished for your dishonorable behavior. it's only natural you have to prove yourself and earn back honor by displaying consistently honorable behavior from now on.

i got reported for negative for one game knocked me from lvl 3 honor to lvl 1 only chat restriction i ever had .. then my honor lvl was locked at lvl 1 for a while.. now its no longer locked but still is lvl 1

Working as intended. Honor is for the coolest, nicest and most confident players who don't tilt or project on happy teammates or enemies.

I was under the impression that it was just for players who aren't toxic, considering you don't need to be nice or confident to gain honor, as said in game, you just need to not be toxic.

Yes. You were toxic. You lost honor because of it.

It is just for players who aren't toxic. You're lucky you were only bumped down to Level 1, and not to Level 0.

Yep. That's how it works.

It's meant to be an extremely harsh penalty (relative to a slap on the wrist of like decreasing one honor level).

Don't be toxic, don't get the penalties.

Hey did you ever get your honor back up?

I just got my first chat restriction of letting a Troll who was throwing the game have it. Went from a 4 3/3 gates to a 1. Been a month now and I haven't moved an inch. Last comment said honor gets reset end of season, but unfortunately they don't reset you if you're under a 2.

I'm curious to find people that managed to move back up, cause It's feeling like it's going to be months before I can play Clash.
