Why is the community like this?

A little context. Playing Ryze top lane. Doing okay, got first tower, big CS lead on a wukong. Turns into a pretty close game. Our jinx ignores a baron call and goes to solo drag. The 4 of us at baron end up dying, enemy team gets baron and eventually wins the game due to that singular play by Jinx. I give her the slight roast. Not the full flame, like a cheeseburger, just a slight lil roast. I mean, she single handedly lost us the game by not coming to baron. However, my team mates vowed to report me for negativity rather than Jinx for losing us the game. Why does the community view negativity as such a bad thing when it is in response to people throwing games?

Because there is no need for flame. League is not a cheeseburger where flame grilled is a good thing. League is where flame is not needed. Similar to saying "its just a small flame" on the couch.

It's 100% necessary when someone doesn't realize they did something wrong and refuses to see what they did wrong that lost us the game.

Explain to me why i can have a similar situation and the person adds me for explaining nicely why it was a bad call on their part rather than tell me they are going to report me.

It is all about your attitude behind it. Flame is not OK in league same as you dont want a little flame on a couch. Reason why is because it spreads. However, if you have the intent on helping them understand, then that is not flame.

and this is why you got reported and eventually losing your account if you keep up that attitude. No one deserves flame, at last according to Rtio's rules. Hindsight is 20/20. You are in same mmr as the jinx. Perhaps she thought it was a good call at the time.

Define "A slight roast" for me.

Everyone's definition of "slight" is different...but if it was enough that your whole team decided to jump your ass for it, then either they were a 4 stack, or your definition of "slight" is still closer to medium well than to rare.

Something along the lines of how she threw the game and must have pings muted or was intentionally throwing the game and how I did not understand how she didn't understand that she did something insanely wrong.

I speculate that the first person to get jumped on is the person who says something negative. I've been flamed for doing bad and flamed for flaming someone for doing bad.
