Taunting is pretty bad sportsmanship tbh

So, i was playing jungle reksai and at level 1 he invaded my blue buff, also i saw he was taking my blue buff mid-game and i smited it and stole it, not knowing that the enemy player was coming to help nocturne. I died, and then this nocturne literally bm'ed us the rest of the game. At the end of the game, he typed in chat gg ez, soooo ezzzzzzzzzzzzz ty for the free win rek, and the blue buff and kill at the start.. and the worst part is they say you are mad, when you really arent.

Taunting is definitely very annoying, especially when YOU are on the losing side.

Btw, I honestly wasn't raging or anything, i just ignored him and said k.

That is unsportsmanlike conduct on his part. I hope you reported it. BTW it says more about him than you. And it doesn't speak well of him.

Taunting is one of the different ways to win by tilting the opponent.

Taunting doesn't mean they can insult you.

Where you are right is that saying "gg ez" is against the summoner's code agreement :

VI Show Humility in Victory, and Grace in Defeat

While it's alright to celebrate, make sure that you keep any gloating (or any other mode of self-indulgence) out of all chat. Instead, thank your opponents for the game. After all, despite their best efforts, they just made you a very happy person.

Don't be sad because of him. Just try your best in your next game. If you were playing ranked and still lose your next game, it's best to stop play for today, do something else, and come back later.
