Should Riot look into accounts that were wrongfully banned?

In rare cases, league of legends accounts get hacked into by another player, and the account gets banned. When the original player comes back, his years of leveling up, ranking, and mastery gets removed in a second. So here is the question: should riot look into accounts that were wrongfully banned? Is there anything that riot can do about it? Is taking that much time to look into such a thing really worth it for the small amount of people actually getting innocently banned?

Keep in mind that these cases are rare, and many people who were actually toxic and being *ssholes in game can also claim that their account got ‘hacked into’. That is wrong, so how will riot be able to tell the difference? Can riot even do anything about this?

I would love to hear your ideas down below!

What problem are you trying to fix?

If someone's account was compromised and banned, then Riot does look into it if the person opens a ticket. There are steps to prove that your account is yours.

Maybe if they read the ToS that you agree to when the account it made, they wouldn't even have the issue in the first place. He dug his own grave and now he lays in it. That's just reality. Nobody should ever give out account information for any reason because of stuff like this. Account will not be retrieved in cases like this most likely
