Hi, him a simple player that likes to play league casually. I am in love with the new honor system but theres 1 thing that bothers me. Why is a 2 man squad allowed to honor each other? I've done it with my friend and got it the other way around. I find it unfair that peaple that carry you or play really well don't get honored because the 2 man squad decided to be selfish. You don't actually benefit from your own premade's honors other than the loading screen flair. They are not going to climb the Honor levels well compared to someone who receives them from strangers.
Honoring your friend gives you less honor, Yes there's a lot of selfish people who will just honor their duo. But I'd like to believe there's people out there who actually honor by the other players performance and deduct down to who deserves the honor.
Some people will do that. Even if you aren't a duo, you can still have people chatting in game and decide to honor each other. Also certain roles (mid, adc) and high kda tend to equal honor. This holds even if another role/player clearly deserves it more. In addition, many people just choose not to honor anyone because either no one played well, everyone played equally well, or they just don't care.

(shameless plug) As far as I am aware, the sejuani and myself each only got one honor and some people didn't give anyone honor. I gave it to her because she enabled me to split and group to strategically stall out the game and get our carries back into it despite their combined 1/19/1 start to the game. I assume she gave me the one honor I got. One apiece after the two of us carried a game for 30 min when we in all logic should have lost in around 23 min. Now THAT is a sign of broken honor system and probably matchmaking too. Sure cait looks like a god via her kda at end of game and blitz had some nice cc in teamfights, but all that only came about because sej and I 2v8 stalled the game forever and made good shotcalls that the rest of the team (mostly) followed. Cait got that kda because in teamfights no one could touch her long enough to do more than half her hp in damage because sej and I simultaneously tanked all enemy burst, cc'd them, and blew up a carry or forced them out of the fight within the first 2 sec.
You can honor each other, but honoring a premade does not boost your honor, so unless you didn't like anyone else in the game, you're better off honoring someone else to help them out. It does however contribute to the "Everyone honored someone" bonus.
Edit: you don't get the loading screen flair from a premade honor.
i honor those who do well on the team and deserve it...there are no benefits from honoring your duo..no flare no exp they implemented that...they literally talked about how they put things in place so duos couldn't abuse the system..period....so i don't know what your going on about..because they get nothing from it....
How do you know they just honored each other? Maybe they just honored different people.
