getting verbally abused because of my unussual build??

i never browse the web to find a perfect build for any champs (cuz im too lazy), so i always comes up with my own build, and to be honest i have a good win rate.... almost every mid game, i met some teammates that goes "wth with ur build?!", or "are u noob?! u f-ing build that!?"..... honestly i never mind that kind of ppl, cuz my build is pretty good and matches with my playstyle....

but today, i met some unussual teammates. so i was playing akali with my "unussual" build, and i got 11 kills and 0 death in min 15. one of em notices my weird build and says "akali wth are u building wtf!?". based on my past experience with that kind of question, i said "this is what i ussualy build, dont worry" ussualy they will listen and reply with "ok", or "allright" BUT NO! instead they said "thats why u always lose" im surprised ofc... then i asked "Excuse me?? check score?" and then they said "thats probably all ks u ****ing noob" "without us, you wont be winning" . . . and i just started to ignore them while they continued to verbally abuse till the end of the game....

my team won, and i rly dont see any reason why my build is their source of hate will this be the future of LOL community??? DOES RIOT RLY WANT TO LET THOSE KIND OF SALTY PLAYER TO BE STILL PLAYIN IN THIS COMMUNITY!? does the "verbal abuse..." report rly works? Is winning with your own weird build, a taboo??!

Offbuilds are tricky. It takes a lot of work to make a good build, but it takes none at all to call any build bad. Don't let flamers tell you what to build, and those in particular seem like toxic players in general. Some, however, actually know that certain items are really bad for your champ, and it might be good to accept some polite advice on what to build.

The verbal abuse report does work, from my experience. (getting the occasional: A player has been punished thanks to you feels great) Might take some time if it's a one time thing. They punish players based off a trend of behavior, not simply the one game. Though there are times where the single game is enough.

Well, what are your builds? It's a rather important point in your post, so it's a little odd that you are not linking the matches in question.

Having a weird build or any build is bad. You should understand all the items and know when to build them against different threats.

i myself like to experiment with my builds depending on the character and i find you can bring out the strengths of your play style quite efficiently when you do so. advice is always good but what does that matter when your build is working?

Accept it. At first they complain about your off-meta pick/build, but then, usually being terrible players, they start feeding/flaming. Just report them at end of the game.

The Ranked queue is about tryharding,if your teamate feels like you are not talking the game seriously youre gonna get the salt.
