This week at around the same time, something like two thirds of the players in my games hit honor level 3, myself included. I wouldn't be at all surprised if in another week, most players that haven't already gotten it will get it. What's the point of the honor system if practically everyone who isn't toxic as all hell is the exact same rank?
Subdue6 votesOr, you're not supposed to be grinding for it. You're just supposed to be consistently a decent person and the honor comes naturally... People who are consistently decent receive the honor rewards.

Anastaecia2 votesIt does seem very odd that all of the sudden everyone is getting 3 at the same time. I know that you get honor for each game regardless if you're "honored". Perhaps the amount of honor you get is not much diff from those honored and not, and that is why Riot keeps it under wraps, so people don't get butt hurt about that. I wonder also if there is a daily cap or something and that all these 3s are people that capped each day since release.

I'm more baffled than anything really. you seem to want Riot to fail, yet you are on their forums. You also mixed the middle east war into your statements as you say, which genuinely confused me, and then continued to say WoW is failing even though it is doing great from a business stand point; yes games to tend to lose players if they have been present for more than a decade and were insanely popular at their peak, that doesn't mean they failed.

The new honor system is blatantly automatic. IT is automatic, as honor upgrades are timed at same time. Thus the number of games you play does not affect it. I have feeling that even getting honors does not affect it most, and Riot would hide behind "slightly increase" when In reality it has no effect what so ever.
It is not possible lots of people are getting rewards withing 1 to 3 days of each other without total automation and no effect from number of games you play, or how many honors you have got. And I bet this is the reason why Riot Games refuse to give us the honor progression bar.
