I'm not a suicide survivor, but I do have diagnosed autism and depression. Growing up being 'coddled' for my condition didn't prepare me very well for the world.

It's taken a lot of situations, including my ban from this game, before I started to have some sense knocked back into me. I'm not about to say I don't deserve what I got just because I have a mental disability. In fact, I tend to not even bring it up at all unless it's relevant to the discussion like this.

Meilin does have a point in that people with such disabilities may not want to partake in competitive gaming, especially if their vulnerabilities are more emotional. It's a conscious choice on their part, though, so Riot shouldn't have to assume any responsibility for it.
