My friend perma ban

http://imgur.com/a/Bm2To So recently, one of my friend (his account name is NTways) got his account perma banned. Not in the best state to play, he decided to go do a game. Unfortunately for him and the players who played with him, he decided to shit talk the hell out of everyone. After some games, he got perma banned without any warning or temporary ban. The link I have put in this board is what he said in the course of those games that he played.

I do believe that a punishment is necessary for him however, I find it fairly unjust for him to be instantly perma banned without any warning or lesser punishments. Not only that, but it is the first time in all the seasons he played (started playing since season 1) that he was toxic.

I am not asking you guys to pity him, but to judge him into your own opinions. From my point of you, he deserve punishment but not of that degree. A month ban would be enough for him to reform. Now, I would like you guys to discuss this case.

Though most players do receive lesser punishments before reaching a permanent ban, it is possible to completely skip them and jump straight to a permanent ban if the behavior is extreme enough. Looking through the chat logs, I do see multiple instances that can help trigger such an escalation.

Calling others "retards" and "%%%" is not okay and is something that Riot has little to no tolerance for, so it can very well trigger an escalation to a 14 day or even a permanent ban. However, the biggest thing I see is the multiple instances of telling others to kill themselves. Encouraging suicide is something Riot has no tolerance for. That on top of the insults I mentioned above is definitely a reason Riot will use to escalate someone straight to a permanent ban.

That is one of the most toxic chat logs i have ever seen. No wonder it was escalted to perma. Your friend is a flat out asshole.

Only the worst players of the worst. Like the really really REALLY toxic playets get perma banned without warning.

Your friend is for sure one of those players.

Riot is going crazy with the bans right now. I'm terrified to say anything in chat that isn't purely factual information because it seems like the number of things that will get you either 2 week or permanently banned with no warning is growing at an incredible rate. I guess this is the effect they want though so... bravo.

You know, even in life, sometimes a lifetime of good behavior doesn't count for squat if you screw up really bad. Reading this chat log, your friend looks like he went off the goddam deep end. I have a super hard time believing that this was literally his first toxic game since the start of this game.
