I want to know because i think it might be the only way to avoid At&T's blatant data throttling that happens at least 3x a day but I don't want to risk losing my main just for a lack of disconnections(if that even happens)
a vpn will only make your connection worse if anything just because you are routing from somewhere else as an ip it has nothing to do with your internet provider giving you the data. Just get a different isp or try to do other troubleshooting to try to reduce as much latency as possible.
