Agree with most, this gaming community is pure toxic IMO

I have played for years and liked with community as a whole. Sure we had quite a few bad apples but what game didn't really? Over the past few years I have seen a steady increase in bad apples as it relates to this toxic behavior. An increase that can no longer be described as the exception but rather the rule. I find more League games with these types than I do decent fun players with an ounce of patience.

The summoner code cannot keep up with this shift. As such, I will be looking for the next game with a future and one with at least more balanced players to enjoy the game as a whole. I do think more harsh punishments should be given and in way more frequency to attempt to counter at least some of the player base shifts but at this point it would take a lot of bans.

I prefer "old" toxicity to "new"

I feel you could have negative chat but for the most part people wanted to win. People throwing usually had to do with role stealing and fighting over pick/bans. That decreased and the game became better in that regard, but player attitude took a nose dive with pettiness.

I think thats because the game straight up hunted out competitive players who were overly zealous about winning. We didn't like it but in hindsight I'd take shitty people who will still play to win over the petty entitlement I see now. You piss off players now and they will softly throw, refusing to contribute to the win out of whatever slight you gave them.

FYI - NA/EU are becoming the joke servers. We don't even get all the updates and client changes they give to players in Asia, and both regions are on a steady decline. As of August both had lost roughly 20%

your going to find the same toxicity as long as your playing a competitive online game.

I've been playing this game since 2013 and I've noticed the opposite. It used to be commonplace to harass people right out the gate. "wow dude are you playing on a toaster?" was a very common jest. We made fun of people's computers, load times, skin or lack of skin, borders, ranks, within the first five minutes of the game. People are not as toxic as they used to be.

idk maybe people are actually pissed when riot set out a video called "is it meta?" to encourage people to troll. this particular season or preseason even i blame riot for the increase.

Well, it's definitely not. A "few" years only shows that you've experienced nothing nor did the research. You need to experience more games before you come to any conclusion.

You'll not be escaping any toxicity just by playing other games. You'll experience the exact same in every other game like this. So hop along, nothing will change, no matter what game you play.

I trying my self to find a new game. not only but nothing compares sadly. not only is the game ruined by toxic players it's going to shit with the balance in the game. when I see shit like 1v2 at level 1 and the player beats two champions at level 1 . well that's when you know this games become nothing but a cash cow and can care less about the balance. i announced not long ago i quit i still find my self coming back for more . trying to do the impossible and raise in ranks hoping maybe thngs will get better . but also finding a lot of BOOSTED PLAYERS that i hate with a passion
