Is that really how it works though? For example, according to this, if I say "My fucking ultimate had 0.1 seconds remaining", it is not bannable right?
I don't understand how that can work though, since the Instant Feedback System is an automated system that detects offensive language directed to other players.
Any clarification?

TrulyBland2 votesFlaming yourself is a tricky subject. "Negative attitude" is considered reportable after all; at least in extreme cases. Taking responsibility or even just venting a little frustration over your own mistake is not going to be a problem. But I do know a case where somebody was punished for self-flaming, because he was basically undermining the morale of his entire team by nonstop talking about how bad he is and how they can't win with him in their team.
I'd say the key here is: Don't dwell on your own mistakes for too long and absolutely never make it sound like you're giving up.

Basically, if it puts down your team or the enemy team, it's probably punishment worthy to some degree

in situation i mentioned above i was reported for "flame" which was my performance and system triggered on it i tried resolving it with riot support but they said it doesnt matter. Their response was just smth that triggered me because a person that i directed my words to did not feel "verbally assulted" but the system triggered on it because smbd did not feel great with my performance
nothing can be done in this case of scenarios unless system is smarter than average riot employee
Faie2 votesThe instant feedback bot isn't just a "bot". It's an A.I. that is built aroudn machine learning, which means that it "learns" how people talk and can recognize what's "good" and what's "bad". Every piece of chat is given to the bot to learn how it should judge chat.
So yes, it can tell when strong language is derogatory and when it's not.

But it'd be based on chat logs if you ever get any :D
Oleandervine1 votesHere's how it works. The moment someone reports you, the instant feedback system scans that game for red flag material. The scan for red flag material, such as trolling, flaming, etc is only triggered when you are reported. If you don't get reported, your swearing is good to go. Like if I say "FUCK YES, GREAT GAME GUYS" it won't get flagged unless someone reported me for something.
