Reporting dodgers!

So, I understand that the system automatically tracks users who make a habit of quitting or dodging out of the game lobby, but I really wish the report function were still available for that sort of instance.

Today a couple friends and I were in a lobby for Draft Pick, Summoner's Rift, and the last player on our team (who shall remain nameless) started freaking out after our third pick. "OMG, really?! No wonder this game is dying! F***ing Bronze levels ruining this game for everybody!" (Not that it really matters, but my friends are actually Silver.) He wouldn't answer exactly what was wrong with our team comp/summoner spells/whatever he was upset about; he was too busy telling everyone what horrible players they were and announcing that he was going to dodge. When it was his turn to pick, he did exactly that.

I feel like we should still have the ability to report people who get toxic in the lobby like this, especially because that would help differentiate between people who are intentionally dodging or someone who just has computer troubles/hits the wrong button/etc.

Thanks for listening, Riot! (Assuming that they find/read this!)

so you want to be able to report someone for doing something as little as "dodging"?? I honestly don't see why people think dodging is such an issue... I rather have someone dodge in the lobby... as opposed to afk'ing during the game... dodging isn't serious man... there's plenty of other things that require riot's attention... just relax

Report them and expect what? Punishment? They are already given punishment for dodging, they cant queue for few minutes. What else would u want? Ban someone cause he dont wanna play with you?

You can screenshot it and send in a support ticket currently, but hopefully in the next client Riot will have a lobby option implemented.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to alter your thread title, it's misleading.

Dodging should not be reportable, it doesn't ruin an in progress game, it's not a form of harassment, and a lot of the time it might be necessary, if you've ever gotten into a lobby where someone immediately started flaming you for your champion pick or announced that they were just going to troll then you really should dodge especially if it's your first dodge of the day, as far as reports for racist or homophobic speech in champ select lobbies those are likely tracked automatically anyway.

There is already a penalty for dodging, you lose 3 LP for the first and 10 LP for the second.

By the way;

F*ing Bronze levels ruining this game for everybody!" (Not that it really matters, but my friends are actually Silver

Bronze = Silver It's pretty much exactly the same... I think 65% ish (?) of the population is playing at bronze/silver level.

sigh Yeah, I'm realizing that belatedly, although I don't think it'll let me alter the title of the thread after the fact. I suppose I made the rookie mistake of assuming that people would read the whole thing and that I'd clearly explained my point. Lol!
