Racism in league

I just had a match where some1 said they hated me and I asked them why and it's because of my last name Luu, he said I was "dirty ugly filthy chinese trash, not even racism because chinese aren't humans". I reported obviously but holy shit he would not stop, the entire match he kept talking about how i was "filthy chinese trash". Has any1 ever experienced such deep hatred towards a race in league like this besides me?

I've never experienced Racism, myself. But I've had a lot of varying issues with sexism over the years (and some issues with homophobia.) All the same, many of the commentators here are right. People like that... they are purely made of hate. When people start doing that, it's not even about prejudice (most of the time).

Often times, it's about doing harm: creating as much emotional pain and stress as they possibly can. Doesn't matter who you are: white, black, Asian, male, female, straight, LGBT... they'll just pick something personal and rag on it until they can't do it anymore.

As to why they do it? Insecurities maybe. I don't know for sure, having never shared the mindset. But it's definitely a sign of a twisted, angry soul.

Those are just hateful people. Doesn't matter who you are, they will find a reason to flame you.

On OCE here, think Australia, which we do have some levels of anti-Chinese mentality going on for one reason or the other (not implying it's justified, because it isn't, just saying there's a couple reason why this happened), I also do occasionally run into this kind of abuse outside of the more ""typical"" (sad, isn't it?) slurs regarding Jews, Muslims and black people.

Obviously, just report them. No need to think more than that. If you are seriously disturbed by the kind of horse shit they spew and before you're out of the match to have access to the report, you can also save your brain cells by muting them; if you have to, you can also screen cap and send it raw to Riot Support via a support ticket, that's another way of reporting questionable player behaviours.

Also, after you're done with the match, wait a while before you re-queue. You don't want to run into them again.

I haven't personally seen it in game, but I have seen people post logs like that on the boards. Usually wondering why they were permabanned or why they skipped chat restrictions straight into a 2-week ban.

I laugh cuz the person probably talking is a kid going thru puberty and thinks they r hot stuff for being a bully on a game.

People will gravitate to what is considered naughty to be intentionally provocative. Making posts about it will only expose your weakness/sensitivity.
