match always start in windowed mode the first match of the session

I dont know when this started happening,maybe a month ago but I always playedin Borderless but recently every match of my league gaming sesion, the match starts in windowed mode,i instantly change it to borderless and it stays borderless for the all the other matches after,but when i restart my computer and play a league match, it starts in windowed mode again.

How do I keep league from resetting into windowed mode and force it to stay Borderless even after restarting my computer?

I Just got off with support from the Riot games website and the solution they proposed to me worked like a charm.

If you have a Geforce Graphics card you should do the following:

Go into the Geforce program and under the Game Tab, uncheck the "Automatically optimize newly added games"
Then go to the Scan Location sectoin and remove C:\Riot Games from the scan location
Then go the "Home Tab", hover over League of Legends and hit select details, then click "REVERT"

If that doesnt work:

Go ahead and go into your where your config file is and make that file read only

Same problem for me as well. None of the solutions above worked! It is only the borderless setting that gets changed to windowed everytime I close league and start it again. But if I change it to borderless in my first game of the session, it starts in borderless for the rest of the matches in the session. Just as OP said
