Riot, Report weigth, does it exist or not?

Your support page (dated 18th of July 2017) here ( https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/207489286-Instant-Feedback-System-FAQ-#top ) tells us: "Will my account get punished for being reported when I did nothing wrong?

This is unlikely, as reports are only one piece of the puzzle. While they are important to bringing games to our attention the system still gauges the behavior in game before punishments are issued. Also, players who consistently make false reports against others diminishes the value of that player's report and renders them meaningless."

On the other hand Riot Tantram answers question "2- does this weight against me, since none of my reports are -validated- by the system (and thus the system must think all my reports are bs)" with "2- No, there are no report 'weights' anymore." . Since the support page is more recent, are we to understand that report weigh has creeped back in the system or what does the last sentence of the support page text mean? I hope to hear from you soon Riot.

tl;dr: Riot, does report weight exist or not? Some clarity would be nice to have, so we know if we are supposed to be reporting only the really bad cases, or are we allowed to report even the less bad, but still trolly cases like "ggez" for unsportsmanlike behavior without plummeting our report value.

The Support Page is outdated. Report weight used to exist, but the new system does not use it (to my knowledge).

Good catch though! I'm definitely giving some Rioters a heads up on this thread.

I would trust tantram over the support page.

Even though the support page says it was updated at a newer time, alot of the old content was just copy and pasted over without proof reading by the actual developer (support staff are not the developers of the behavioral system).

Um, you quote the paragraph which answers your question.

As you can see, It is not a yes or no answer.

Yes, it does, but not in a way you'd expect:

Only amount of games you got reported in matters, also 1 report is enough to get you permabanned, and it doesn't matter if it was 1 report or 4, it all depends on your chat, I don't understand how people don't understand this.

For fuck sake, can any of you use logic for a second? If that was the case, there would be 4 man premades running around, making sure every 5th person on their team gets banned, since it's 4 reports on one person, how does that even fucking make any sense? Exactly, it doesn't, that's why it doesn't work that way.

You can figure out how the system works merely by thinking of what you could abuse, if you find a way to abuse it, chances are it's already taken care of, I mean, have you heard of 5 premades honoring eachother and getting lv5 honor in a week? Me fucking neither, because honoring your premades has little to no value whatsoever, for a good reason. Riot's balance team might be retarded, but they are smart enough to understand that friends would spam honor on people they know every single game.
