End of season is so dumb

Just had a guy in my game who went Karthus top, and that would've been fine, but he did horribly didn't play safe and just generally threw. He died for the rest of the game ending with 10 deaths and leaving the game horribly one-sided. Near the end of this season I have been working really hard just to get to gold, climbed from silver 5 to silver 1 and was hoping to get gold. This guy proceeds to say in the game "I already have gold, I don't care if we lose." And that really pissed me off. The fact is, if you do something like this near the end of the season especially it should be punished even more. I hate these stupid trolls while I'm just trying to win.

How is this related to end of season? Karthus top is viable pick and people can play bad at any point of season. Yes, he dont care that he lost. What does it matter? Should he be devastated? That doesnt mean he didnt try his best. That would be my answer too if i got dumped on by enemy and abused by my teammates for it.

That's why you don't wait until the end of the season to try to climb. Nothing you can really do about it, but ye it sucks
