Riot, why are people like this level 30 and still allowed to play?

Simple question for a Red: is it possible for you to bypass the normal 'report' system and look at somebody's account manually to ban them? Just played a game with a guy who queued up as support (likely doing it so that he can queue instantly) in ranked, then he chose Nunu and followed around in the jungle, killing the large monsters and calling out my location in chat (I had queued as jungle in the game). Laughed about it in chat, said that he wouldn't be banned. Sure enough, six of the people just left the match instantly instead of reporting him at game end. Not to mention, looking at his match history, he seems to be doing this in just enough games to wreck the experience for others but not enough to actually have punishments levied against him.

Is it possible for a Riot employee to do something about this player? Is there a support line where somebody can submit such reports beyond the 'report' button at match end? This guy is gaming the system and laughing about it, knowing that as long as he doesn't do it too often he won't be punished. He essentially said as much in the chat, totally unafraid of the consequences.

Reporting a player through the in-game system is the only way to ensure that such a case will face potential punishment; reports sent to Player Support will not count against a player.

Also, why this was downvoted is beyond me. Don't blame me that Riot cares not for Support Ticket player reports.

I reported someone off of a Support Ticket for intentionally feeding in over 50 consecutive games; instant ban the moment ticket was processed.

How do you know they were banned? Riot don't tell you if action has even been taken, let alone if someone was banned.

It is very easy to tell. First off, I followed the person's op.gg for a while and shared what I found w/ Riot w/ suggestions that they see how he/she slipped past 100+ games of straight feeding w/ KDAs of 0/20+/0 every game.

The day after the ticket was processed and I got the automated response, the account has straight up died.

E: Just b/c Riot Support says they can't share what action they took, doesn't mean they don't take these reports into consideration. If you have something against them, that's for you to address. I have seen my tickets come to fruition a few times. GL.

What's more concerning is that someone was intent feeding in over 50 consecutive games without being caught by their flawless system in the first place.

Instead of being a prick and calling someone a liar, how about you just ask in a civil manner if you need more "proof".

It was in fact about 130 games including 30 ranked games.

The fact that someone was slipping through was exactly why I submitted a ticket and perhaps that is why there was an instant punishment issued.

Also, I made a thread here on the boards about it a week or so ago as well so you can read that for yourself if you need more info.

Perhaps you should brush up on your reading comprehension skills to realize that I never called you a liar.

I gave two options, and you could of just verified it was option 2. intent feeding 50 games isn't a "slip through the crack" it's a clear hole in the system that is being exploited.

Maybe next time before you try to engage in a civil conversation, you will learn to comprehend what is being said before answering.

You also said he was lying. Someone who lies is a liar. You may have not directly pointed the term at him, but it doesn't take a professor to know what it implies.

This statement is you saying pretty much two things. 1) You are saying Lokistic is lying, thus making him a liar (liars lie, you see). Or 2) Riot's player punishment system is broken.

Lokistic, as any normal human would do, is trying to defend from one of those points. Even if, by some stretch of logic, an OR statement would imply that it's only one or the other, Lokistic is trying to prove that the first point is incorrect (as he doesn't want to be called a liar, which, again, you called him a liar whether you meant to or not). So, in order to prove that he wasn't a liar, he provides his side of the story and a few statistics on this player.

Implying that someone might be lying is still calling them a liar. It may be that, in this specific case, Riot's system is broken and therefore Lokistic is proven not to be a liar in pure context to this sentence. All he is doing is saying that he isn't a liar and providing evidence to back this up.

It'd be like saying "Either some random stranger murdered this innocent person, or [insert your mother's name here] murdered them!" Sure, it could be the random stranger, but that doesn't change that you're in essence, suggesting your mother is a murderer, and she will obviously get very defensive about it.

But, oh well, I can't win an argument on the internet anyway. Unfortunately, I'm not able to out-condescend people just due to my nature.

This is Rhojin (Rioter) just two days ago on screen shots and sending tickets;

If a report is sent in to us we investigate it to our fullest ability, and screenshots are a huge help when we are doing an investigation (no, seriously we love when you guys include screenshots in a report) especially in instances where negative or abusive behavior happens outside of a game (chat rooms, Client IMs, pre or postgame chat). Now while reports are sent in, there is no guarantee that someone is going to get punished, like all of our other behavior punishments only those who have actually done something deserving of a punishment will receive one.

If you want to grab a screenshot of something that happened outside of the game you can print screen and past the file into any visual media program you may have (mspaint comes to mind because I don't know a lot of them :P). Or you can use the snipping tool to snip the part of the screen you need and save it as an image. In game its easy as hitting F12 to take a screenshot.

The main problem is: most people don't report others for bad behaviours and just leave the lobby without looking at stats (like you said 6 in that game), while other just don't bother to report or forget to also some even report for the wrong reasons. If you get 9 reports in one single ranked game, all for the same reason, the system will you in some way since that means you were far too toxic that game, so much that you even ruined the experience of the enemy team (hich shoul be grateful if you did bad since they probably won off of that)

How are you getting 9 reports? According to rito, it is literally punishable to ask to report the player.

No one has ever been banned/punished for asking, in the right way, to report a player for his bad behaviour. If you ask them to report someone every 3 seconds I can understand, but no one will tell you anything if you and/or your team asks: "can you please report this guys for x motive?" and everything ends there, if you stil think it is too much, just inform the enemy team of what the guy did during the end-game lobby and, unless you're a dick during th whole match, some people will ignore you while others will be nice enough to actually report bad behaviours on the enemy team. So as you can see you don't even need to ask them openly about that, if they are smart enough and willing they will understand even with only: nice game even though "x" did "y". Obviously you otta udnerstand that there are cases and cases: for obvious trolling like this is ok, but if you're just tilted and ask for a report because reasons the one with a report and a punishment might end up beying you, so i nthe end it all comes down to the same old: be nice and even the enemy team will be nice to you.

Incorrect. Saying "report X for Y" even once is enough to get you punished.

Furthermore, asking other players to report someone accomplishes nothing anyway. Receiving multiple reports for the same game isn't weighted any more than a single report, provided it's for a valid reason.

Just report the person yourself and move on.

Have you ever heard someone getting punished by saying "please report x for y"? Not me, so even though it might be like you guys say, riot's never punished anyone for that as far as I know. Also doesn't matter if 9 reports have the same weight as 1, it's just right to report someone with a bad behaviour, doesn't work? Cool, it's not like you'll lose anything if you have reported someone with a bad behaviour, works? Better: someone with a bad behaviour got the punishment he deserved. What you are saying it's pretty much: "I don't care, someone will do the report for me anyway" but no one will actually do it because everyone thought like that, better give one more than one less in these cases, as long as it's really deserved.

Meanwhile I got warned for abusive language after the four man team I was on framed me because I asked zilean to get a sighstone. Literally all I said is, "zilean, can you get a sightstone" and suddenly him and his buddies were flooding all chat with "ong toxic cass report" and "but my mom already has cancer" "cass is telling me to kill myself" and "cass wants me to drink bleach". Tried defending myself but the other team beleived the four man. Didnt think things like that happened but hey, its a wonderful community were in, right?

It's simple really. They'd rather ban players who say a 'mean' word than people who actually go out and ruin the game for other people.

Newsflash Riot: When I have a teammate who tells me I'm bad, I'm still able to play the game and have a chance at winning. When I have a troll on my team the chance of winning is lost as soon as the game loads and I'm stuck in hell for 30 minutes with a 20 lp loss. I'm sure many, many players would rather see one of these types of players banned over the other.

It's all basically like this....RIOT doesn't care, and never has, about who gets punished for what. They care about how many RP points these teeny boppers can talk mommy and daddy into buying for them. It's a sick system, and a big reason why so many ppl are going to dota and Heroes of the storm. So you expect a guy to make a perfect reporting system for multiple offenses that can be committed in multiple ways? So you attack his education because he can't make a perfect system, because he can't make a complicated system perfect?

my friend choose to be perma ban ive seen the email if you saw the email and new him you would know he choose it it was very clearly asked for and happily received he took out all the text book plays

two critcal issues he had that drove him nuts where the "youve been reported" which pops up even if they are false which he didnt know

and the lovely 140 ping which they fixed only about a month before he just blew up.

there where a number of other factors but those where two very clearly in riots control that he had huge issues with.

he isnt toxic but this game made him toxic he plays hots and has only gotten a very light wrist slap when his irl plus the game started stressing him out its not even funny how shitty his life is becuase he is that nice guy that every one dumps there shit on and he will take it for a good two years before he blows so i can tell you between that story of his and from what ive seen in bots lytes a horrible joke and is 100% guaranteed hurting the game not making it better.

the best lyte has for people that need to kick back and vent is dont play tell you calm down. it is unaccpetable with all the failing riot has that are considered basics for any game.

  1. ie ping which they recently 6 years later fixed as i heard it was 6years last year when it happened

  3. an actual ranked mode. im not joking ive heard to many stories from to many people about the "im here for fun crap" in a try hard mode. my freind got perma banned at bronze 1 was still pulling of 16/8 blitz vs lux yolo ranked mids just to give you an idea of why he was so pissed when he statered to blow up

  4. finally runes and talent points. might not seem like a bad thing but as some one who's still fairly new it is game ruining when trying to get them and you have these losers who go bots and cs war and everything as a level 30

p.s. my typings bad save your breath it might make me look bad but its just the fact of the matter my typing sucks so when you beat a dead horse you suck more at life then my spelling/grammer try not to forget that

I totally agree with this post. Trolls are running around freely, queue system is messed up, and instead of the trolls getting punished, its the people who actually care about their game that suffer. I just got restricted from queuing up for 30 minutes because I dodged a ranked queue. The automated system did that because it saw that I didn't lock in my pick, but what else can I do when I have a troll pick in my team and someone who got jungle, but isn't going jungle, and says if he doesn't get top he's gonna feed? Truth is, League's punishment system and queue is just unfair. Don't get me wrong, many toxic players and trolls DO get banned and punished, but the proportion of unfair punishments is just higher. I really hope they do something about this soon, instead of just ignoring the community's anger and dissatisfaction.

Better ban people who the griefing morons complain about. That'll protect more revenue.
