Riot, why are people like this level 30 and still allowed to play?

Simple question for a Red: is it possible for you to bypass the normal 'report' system and look at somebody's account manually to ban them? Just played a game with a guy who queued up as support (likely doing it so that he can queue instantly) in ranked, then he chose Nunu and followed around in the jungle, killing the large monsters and calling out my location in chat (I had queued as jungle in the game). Laughed about it in chat, said that he wouldn't be banned. Sure enough, six of the people just left the match instantly instead of reporting him at game end. Not to mention, looking at his match history, he seems to be doing this in just enough games to wreck the experience for others but not enough to actually have punishments levied against him.

Is it possible for a Riot employee to do something about this player? Is there a support line where somebody can submit such reports beyond the 'report' button at match end? This guy is gaming the system and laughing about it, knowing that as long as he doesn't do it too often he won't be punished. He essentially said as much in the chat, totally unafraid of the consequences.

The main problem is: most people don't report others for bad behaviours and just leave the lobby without looking at stats (like you said 6 in that game), while other just don't bother to report or forget to also some even report for the wrong reasons. If you get 9 reports in one single ranked game, all for the same reason, the system will you in some way since that means you were far too toxic that game, so much that you even ruined the experience of the enemy team (hich shoul be grateful if you did bad since they probably won off of that)

Meanwhile I got warned for abusive language after the four man team I was on framed me because I asked zilean to get a sighstone. Literally all I said is, "zilean, can you get a sightstone" and suddenly him and his buddies were flooding all chat with "ong toxic cass report" and "but my mom already has cancer" "cass is telling me to kill myself" and "cass wants me to drink bleach". Tried defending myself but the other team beleived the four man. Didnt think things like that happened but hey, its a wonderful community were in, right?

a green guy (board-mod) on the euw boards once told me not taking the role giving in ranked (unless ppl agree to swap) is reportable for grieving.

That is assisting the enemy team.. report him.. If people actually DID report then he would eventually get punished

As long as he wasnt cursing in chat he will never get a ban, unfortunate but true. Trolling is viable, excessive cursing equals ban

It's simple really. They'd rather ban players who say a 'mean' word than people who actually go out and ruin the game for other people.

Newsflash Riot: When I have a teammate who tells me I'm bad, I'm still able to play the game and have a chance at winning. When I have a troll on my team the chance of winning is lost as soon as the game loads and I'm stuck in hell for 30 minutes with a 20 lp loss. I'm sure many, many players would rather see one of these types of players banned over the other.

It's all basically like this....RIOT doesn't care, and never has, about who gets punished for what. They care about how many RP points these teeny boppers can talk mommy and daddy into buying for them. It's a sick system, and a big reason why so many ppl are going to dota and Heroes of the storm. For a staff that listens and cares.

try to submit a report ticket? I don't know to be honest. many players are like this and continue to do it because they know the reporting system and how it goes.

I totally agree with this post. Trolls are running around freely, queue system is messed up, and instead of the trolls getting punished, its the people who actually care about their game that suffer. I just got restricted from queuing up for 30 minutes because I dodged a ranked queue. The automated system did that because it saw that I didn't lock in my pick, but what else can I do when I have a troll pick in my team and someone who got jungle, but isn't going jungle, and says if he doesn't get top he's gonna feed? Truth is, League's punishment system and queue is just unfair. Don't get me wrong, many toxic players and trolls DO get banned and punished, but the proportion of unfair punishments is just higher. I really hope they do something about this soon, instead of just ignoring the community's anger and dissatisfaction.
