When you tell someone "I hope you get banned", you get suspended

So my account as an active Suspension currently, but not for anything that you would think of. I got suspended for telling someone "That I am going to report them" and that "I hope they get banned" because the player was actively helping the enemy team. So in the Champion Selected phase, I had asked our support to not pick a Annie support, so he ended up picking Blitzcrank. What this chat log doesn't show you is the active amount of verbal abuse and toxicity which Blitzcrank was spewing was disgusting, ALL while the enemy Thresh, was actively encouraging the Blitzcrank's behavior. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2612123732/200883569?tab=overview

Blitzcrank's Op.gg page, you can actively view that his account seems to be doing very negatively maybe due to active trolling...

The "Fuk you too Irelia" followed up with "LOL" more of because she just kept diving me in fights and couldn't do anything about it. Nothing super personal there. but this is what our Customer Relation rep's said about it

"And had your only offense been saying "please report ____" This punishment might have been very different or non existent. But because you reiterated and said it in really toxic ways like "hope you enjoy your ban", we felt the need to take action.

Yeah, report calling is punishable. Riot has been like this since halfway through season 5, its nothing new.

Standing up to oppression is denying their authority, which naturally is unacceptable. That's what chinese values have been like for longer than the western civilization has existed. Dont stand up to bullying - endure it. After all, everybody knows problems go away if you pretend they dont exist.

Right?

If you want to keep playing Tencent's game, you follow their rules. Nothing you or i can do about it.

Yea that is absurd, i mean granted you're a bit salty but nothing over the edge, and honestly riot is going down hill, it's like they are liberals pushing safe spaces or something lol

You don't have to let a player know you are going to report them, there is literally zero reason to tell them that. It isn't going to make them stop and fear for their life and doesn't matter if they are doing anything wrong or not. On top of that, calling for reports or threatening with reports detracts from the game itself, which riot has been adamantly against since I started in mid season 3. I understand players are toxic at times, but you do not have to listen to them in the slightest. Riot has implemented several features to silence these people. Use them. Then, report them afterwards. This isn't enduring the bullying. Granted, the only enduring that you must take is being in the game with them and moreso if they are inting. But beyond that, their verbal abuse can stop whenever you want it to.

Gonna be completely honest here, I'm not inclined to like or agree with you because you did the below things. But setting aside my own feelings on the matter, I understand your plight, and I know it can be confusing and frustrating when you get punished simply for retaliating against players who are already harassing you.

  1. Told another player what champion to use, imposing your own will on them - a free thinking person who has a right to do what they want as much as you have a right to do what you want. That is downright irritating.

  2. You went further than threatening ban. Saying, "Have fun with your ban." is over and beyond what is needed, if you really just wanted them to stop you could have said, "Please stop, what you are doing is bannable and if you continue I will report you." Instead you said the more egotistical "have fun with your ban" which implies a superiority complex. That is downright irritating too.

What suspension do you have? is it 14-day, or permanent? If you're likely to play League again, then I can discuss with you about communication stuff and how to not get banned while still getting teammates to cooperate with you.

Regardless of the situation's context. There is absolutely no excuse/reason for any player to retaliate. Its that simple people.
