Full explanation of 14 day ban

Basically, I was playing on my account from last season to the start of this season, until I went away on holiday, so I basically gave my account to one of my friends and that he said he wouldn't do any harm towards it at all, and that, say 2-3 months later, I receive a text saying, "sorry but I took your account and if u want it back, come on discord", and I came back on discord today, and that he gave me my account back to me, and that he said "oh yeah its got a 14 day ban for toxicity" so I basically flipped with him, and that he said sorry and everything, and I was wondering if I could be able to play on my account again, since I'm the one whos down all the hard work, and my friend just ruins it by getting it banned

Better Explanation: Basically, when I gave him my account. he stole it off me after, I basically changed the password, and he still had my email address, and that when I came back off my holidays he had basically stolen my account, and told me to add him on his new name, and that I feel shocked that he did that, and that when I read through the rules after he did that, I was like oh damn, and then I tried to get my account back through my email, which I did, because I had TID, and that I got on my account and its banned for 14 days, which end on the 9th, but I feel like I've been scammed from playing the game which I grind every single day of my life, and that I don't want to grind smurfs., and I want my main account back for good

Sounds like you should just wait out the 9 days, and ensure that nobody but you can access your account.

Made sure no one can access my account anymore because I went through my email, my account protector, and my security team which handles with all my emails and all my accounts and that's why I am asking if my ban could be shortened or taken away as I was not on my account at the time, and that I am now on my account

The thing is, you would need to prove that it was 100% not you who did what was deemed worthwhile of a 14 day ban. That, and this is arguably fair as you shouldn't be giving people your account in the first place and if you do, you are still responsible for what they do with your account. You trusted your friend with your account, and that means you are still responsible for anything he does with your account.

Yes I know that, and I can be able to PROVIDE PROOF, that it was NOT ME 100%, because I was away on a work vacation and that while I was away I was helping people level up there smurfs, and that I was at a league boot camp in Korea, but now I'm back and I'm banned on my main account for something which I haven't done and that I haven't even thought of doing, before coming to the game called league of legends, and that I just want to be able to play with my friends that I went to the bootcamp with and be able to chill and play like a normal chill person would do

It's a crappy situation, but again what happens on your account, even if it's not you, is your responsibility. I believe you, but that still means that someone you trusted and gave your account to misused it. 9 more days sounds harsh, but you'll be able to use your account again soon enough. Just try to take it as a reminder that your account shouldn't be shared or given out, even if you trust the person, as you are responsible for your account.

Understandable, but even though I have work next week and for the next 3 months straight, I will have no time for League, and that I just wanted to grind to at least gold by tomorrow, but now I cant because my account is taken by a ban, and that if I don't get any help within 72 hours, I'm charging back

Chargebacks will almost always get your account banned permanently (and can be illegal), so be careful with that.

Unfortunately, this one is on both you and your friend -- what he did it awful, but account sharing IS a violation of the Terms of Use, and you're frankly lucky the account wasn't permanently banned for that: Riot punishes sharing aggressively precisely because of situations like this one.

There's no real choice but to wait out the ban.

Thing is, the proof is in itself evidence supporting a punishment, as it would include you sharing the account intentionally. I wouldnt try to appeal it as a 14 day ban is much better than a perma most people get for that violation.

No, you don't seem to understand. It is against the League of Legends EULA to share your account with anyone, regardless of their relationship to you. Even if you were able to somehow prove that your friend was the one who caused your account to receive a 14-day ban, it's still your fault in the first place for allowing someone other than you to access it. I'm certain that Riot Support will tell you the same exact thing. That's just the way it is man.

Doesn't matter Jesper. You shared your account. It wasn't compromised, which would be the only way they would consider lifting the ban.

Also heres the thing mate, when I had my team look into t, they even tried to contact the support team on there accounts, and that the support team didn't even read or look at it for 2-3 weeks

Account sharing is one of the perma-banable offenses.

You do realize this thread can get your account perma banned? Because sharing account is strictly against rules. Not to mention that your friend played RANKED games on your account which is classified as MMR boosting.

The issue is a bit complex; Riot deems you responsible for all actions on your account, and sharing/giving your account information for someone else to play on it is against their ToS. Therefore, if you first gave consent for them to use your account, and later on they stole it completely, it would be on you, not Riot. It wouldn't be counted as being hacked by an unnamed person or someone getting on your account without your permission, so all we can say is to wait out the next 9 days and just be sure not to give out your information again.

This is why account sharing is against the rules. Your best friend can just flip one day and boom account gone. It doesn't matter if he got it perma banned. It's your account and your responsibility.
