I started playing LoL back in season 3. Since then I've noticed the community of league has become more and more toxic as the age of this game grows. I know personally I get upset when someone plays bad or makes the wrong decision that cost us an advantage or something that just out right dumb, but what I've run into recently is when you play something out of the norm you get flamed. This morning I played 3 games. First one was a win Urgot top. kinda weird but not really. 2nd one I played on-hit lulu my jungler flamed me as soon as I locked in "That's game someone dodge." "Don't waste my time lulu just dodge." "I won't be ganking top lane lulu top is useless." needless to say I get in game leash his blue and play the game. Get the first blood and die shortly after to a gank. no worries. what ever. the jungler decides to flame me. "see lulu top was S**t." long story short he doesn't gank and continues to flame me. I report him after game. And am informed that I was reported. FOR WHAT?! playing lulu top lane. 3rd game. I play Vi jungle. Same jungler from last game is on the opposite team. I load in they are flaming their ahri support. then the jungler says that it couldn't be worse than the lulu top and GP Mid he had the previous game. Flaming me even after the game has ended. What ever cool no biggie blow it off be the better person what ever. My team starts making stupid plays a varus built nothing but attack speed with no dmg. a Taliyah doing more dmg than the ADC out top laner pushed to far in for me to gank and a kassadin which we all know will kite Vi and make her look silly. so I literally cant gank any lanes. The enemy jungler realizes who I am and starts to flame me even more in all chat. saying hes reporting me a 2nd time for being bad and toxic. then my entire team turns against me and start flaming me in all chat and making simple mistakes to get even further behind. At this point I'm ANGRY. so I start to fire back. insulting someone enough and your going to eventually get them to bite.

Point of this LONG story is what does RITO do about this. I reported literally everyone in that game for flaming me. Literally 9 players against 1. How is this a community worth playing with. Why should we continue to support a game and company that allows this behavior to continue on? I need some answers. I feel this is horrible. Like I said I've been known to be toxic but for the right reason. I've been banned for stuff that Is way less toxic than 9 players ganging up on 1 player.

I hope a Riot employee answers and not just some forum mod. someone who has some actual pull within the company.

Riot if you expect your game to continue further start banning the people who deserve it.

Sometimes people like me get permanently banned for extremely mild toxic behaviour...I think this company and the player base needs to start hardening up and /mute all

What will you do about it? Riot can provide tools as a means to report but in reality it's up to the community to change.

Be positive, civil, and help players when they ask and you can help.

Why wouldn't you mute all?

Tolls intend to get you to fight back. They try to bait you into arguments so that you'll say something rude and get punished for it. The best thing to do is mute them and report them after the game.

If you want to see positivity come from the community, the thing I found works the most is leading by example. Be the type of person you wish there was more of in the community. Try to get your team back on track and be friendly with everyone, troll or not. You won't (and honestly can't) convert everyone, but you will make a lasting impression on the ones who can change. Who knows, you might see more of it as time goes on.

Riot does nothing that's why there are feeders and toxic teammates in most games
