I get it, I got caught. I don't need you to spam " ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ?" on my dead body.

If I cautioned pinged you because it was really obvious that you were going to get caught and I am not sure how you weren't smart enough to realize it too, I'm going to "?" ping you.

I've seen cases of ping spam being punished here.

I only ping spam if it is absolutely necessary - it is very rare that I have to do that though...

Anyway, I don't think ping spamming is punishable. :)

Spamming pings to me is one of the bigger problems in terms of negative player behavior, especially those that serve no purpose. Spamming the MIA ping over someone who died for any reason is ridiculous. They most likely realized they made a bad/greedy decision and don't need you to pile on and let's be honest, you are sure to/have made dumb decisions. Spamming the question mark provides nothing positive to the game.

This scenario can be repeated for most pings in various situations. Most of the time a single ping will do. If it is not, two or three at MOST is all you need. If you are getting the message saying you need to wait before issuing more pings, you are overdoing it. a quick message is often more direct and easier to understand.

Treat pings as you would a message. A MIA ping is essentially a shorthand version of "top MIA". Would you type that 5 times into chat in the course of two seconds? Doubtful, unless you are really after that chat ban.
